insecurities in themselves.

or maybe they are trying to piss them off on purpose so they'll work harder to lose the weight?

knew a girl, neither glamorous nor that other word that i try never to use (quite aware of the karma truck). she was called 'fat b*&$%' by family as a teen and never got over it.

i think people that fall short of societal expectations already know it.certainly there are better ways to help than ridicule.

I came to the conclusion that..no matter what our differences are...no matter of race, creed or age and certainly no matter of financial and prestige in the world...we are all made of the same stuff that also supports life.
A basic need of love...compassion and understanding.
Let this then be the place to come to talk..think and hear what we are all trying to say...We Are All One!

Ya Dig?

again, well said.
recognizing that the unchangeable differences are a simple accident of birth, and the others are a product of the human experience and not specifically related to the difference itself . . .
then will true communication, respect,

nmind, you (some of you) get the picture.

yes i have. spybot/adware used to run automatically with norton, or so i thought. however my subscription had expired and my cable/internet provider was offering it for free.

by the time i'd signed on, they had their own online protection program and when i ran it the first time, it located a lot of spyware. it's still running slow though, even after my having removed all that.

Oh geez, there's your problem. You have Norton, that puppy will eat up your resources like a fat kid on chocolate cake

that it will. a quick look at Task Manager will reveal which prgs are using excess resources.

bottom line though, only a tech sitting at the machine will be able to give you an accurate diag and correction. you can try someone local that you have confidence in, OnForce.com or CrossLoop (many helpers there are still no fee).

in either case, create a new Restore Point and, if possible, backup your files before makng changes.

as long or short as it takes with the specific connection.

a woman(!) made me think when she said 'in the end, whether we have sex the first day or in six months won't decide if we'll stay together'

hmm

I let them approach/ find me. I'd probably date more often if i did the approaching.

Yep. Me too.

Soooooo......does that mean the fabled primal, caveman desire to hunt a woman, then drag her back to his cave is dead?!?! :cry:

DAMN!!! huh

mortally wounded and on life support. smote by the same hand that placed 'gentleman' in the next ICU bed. likely 'lady' and 'feminine' were sent to the next door ward by the same perp. investigations continue.

they used to find me. reeled me right in!
discovered they weren't who they initially said they were.
decided i'd do the finding for a while, see how that goes.

the only things that can and should keep two people apart are themselves. if you're on a one-way street you must take the next available exit.
walk away cleanly, feel the burn and live through it (you will). do not look back or risk missing the road ahead.

you've allowed yourself, your eyes and your desires to wander longingly elsewhere.

i have no idea so i looked it up;
Usage: Scottish, English
From a Scottish surname which was derived from Gaelic "valley". A famous bearer of the surname was an American astronaut

tried my other name;
Usage: Scottish, English
Scottish a name introduced to Scotland by Scandinavian settlers and invaders. It became popular outside Scotland during the 20th century. A famous bearer was American president.

don't think my folks had either def in mind!
