na... just remember you are talking to actual people. Some of them will
warm up to you right away... others try to bludgeon you with
crap...(hence the thick skin) but for the most part if you play nice, so
do they... once you get to know some of us then of course it turns to a

well you know... even the studies proved all I need to know.
We feel better in the morning having a partner to sleep with, and wake
up to. So I don't care if my cognitive abilities suffer for it. I'll
take the same face every morning rather than an empty spot...and an

Yeah I got one... she wanted me to come to Africa and deal with her dead
father's estate for which she would be willing to pay me 20% of several
million US dollars.... I respectfully declined....
It's nothing but a line of BS... and if it WERE true you'd likely get
shot being an American in the middle of a rebel outbreak, trying to
secure documents...lol.. very 007

I am actually in the situation right now. A week from tonight I'll be
on a plane to spend a week with her. Right now the plan is to meet and
see if the sparks continue to flame like they have over the net/phone.
Then I'll fly back down home and spend a few months arranging to move
permenently. I gotta say I haven't been more sure of a woman my entire
life. She tells me the same thing... So more than likely I'll be
packing a few things, selling a few things, and giving a few things away
to make the move. Is it worth that? Hell yes.

meet her. As for how it works... just be yourself, be patient, and get
involved in the forum chat... something you say in there might get her
to view your profile and suddenly your gonna get message with her phone
number... ;)

Some people have a way of making you think you can't do any better than
them... my ex, for instance, had me gridlocked in our relationship for
5 years. Why? Because I wanted to believe what she told me, even when
I knew it was bullshit. I forgave her for things she did over and over
and over.... when I should have probably just left. I made excuses for
her rather than realizing the truth which was that she was an
over-obsessive-self-absorbed-selfishly-cruel-childlike-man-hater.

Gee... it's true what they say... I DO feel better... LOL ;)

In answer to the question though, I'd say you need to give it time.
Time to find the missing piece... time to examine it... and finally time
to put it together. I've waited over a year to find my piece. Not
through lack of choices... heh... I don't do one nighters.... but I have
finally met mine. Here through this site, in fact. Didn't see it
coming, and she didn't either. But here we are planning to fly me up to
see her, and the strong possiblity that I will be staying. I found
her.... I examined her...(she is a damn good con if she is conning
me...love you sweetie if you're reading this...)...and am moving to the
stage of putting it all together.
