it used to be you only had so much time to do that.. not sure how long it was..but if you go right back to it you can click edit on the bottom of your post.. and just back space.

hello. welcome here. I know it used to be that you could turn your chat off on here. which probably most do i am only assuming. so some you may be able to chat with while othere that have their chat turned off there will be no button. the main reason people do this is you get a lot of unwanted people instant messaging <or chat> with you. if you email that person perhaps they can turn it on for you. its under your settings tab when you go to your account. i beleive. hope that helps you. or hope i am right lol!!! good luck

how long before your unopened mail gets deleted out of your account automatically? is there a way to change it from disappearing? and does the other party who sent it know you never read it? i have no mail in my box not even old opened or old sent ones.. used to be there no matter how long you were away.
