Your assumption that I would hate because you are English and I am Irish says a lot about your view of Irish people. Pure and unadulterated racism is what you have expressed. The idea that America helps the world is ridiculous. America dominates the globe for its own good through its massive military which is bigger than Russia and China multplied many times over. America declares itself the enemie of terrorism when in reality it is the biggest perpetrator of terror in the world. It supports oppressive regimes that torture their own people because it allows them access to oil. And then they wonder why certain people hate them. Now we might say thats the government doing that but the whole country are oppsessed with guns and violence and as the first guy posted they celebrate new ways to kill as if carrying weapons of death is something to be proud of.

A quick look at the violent Crime Rate in Ireland shows that even Chicago looks safe.
"The Garda division of Roscommon/Longford narrowly edged Mayo as the region with the lowest crime rate, with an average of just 325 offences per 10,000 population — less than half the rate in Dublin or Limerick. Low crime levels were also recorded in Donegal, Clare, and Tipperary.

Limerick has the highest crime levels for sex offences and criminal damage to property, while Waterford has the worst crime rate for assaults and weapons and explosives offences."
http://www.irishexaminer.com/ireland/special-report-crime-analysis-reveals-meanest-and-safest-streets-234001.html

Maybe you should look to your own first before you start to lecture others with a lower crime rate; and you have a Gun Ban in place for all the good it does for the Honest, Law Abiding Citizens.

And my bet for Bragging Rights is still out there; will you take?

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A bill to allow students, staff and visitors to carry guns on Idaho's college campuses passed out of a legislative committee Friday afternoon, despite objections from students, multiple police chiefs and leaders of all eight of the state's public colleges.

The measure would allow retired law enforcement officers and those with Idaho's new enhanced concealed carry permit to bring their firearms onto campus. Concealed weapons would still be barred from dormitories, stadiums and concert halls.

"There are a lot of concealed weapons permit holders out there, and the reason they get that is because they want to protect themselves," Lovell said. "They don't want to be caught in a fishbowl if there's an active shooter."

If the measure becomes law, Idaho would join six other states with provisions — either from lawmakers or dictated by court decisions — that allow concealed carry on campus: Colorado, Kansas, Mississippi, Oregon, Utah, and Wisconsin, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. Utah is the only state with a specific law that forbids universities from banning concealed carry at any of its 10 public institutions.

I am sure you do get excited by the idea of vigilantie gangs roaming the streets doling out arbitrary justice. Sadly like most Americans you miss the point... a society that is built on the pursuit of wealth at the expense of the most vunerable is devoid of "good guys" The weapons you people so rigorously defend the right to own are just another symptom of a society that pisses on the weak and uses violence to keep the poor down. No my country is far from perfect but I am talking about the culture and attitudes of our society compared to yours. You people claim your country is special and you point to the most succesful and wealthy people as evidence of this. We judge the health of our nation/society on how we treat the most vulnerable...we point to things like our welfare system and our free health care for all as evidence of our "greatness" Crowing on about your ability to own deadlier and deadlier weapons and as a people activly legislating for new ways to conceal them is so beyond the pale I cant believe someone could take pride in it.

Which country are you from?
FYI: the Deacons for Defense weren't "Vigilantes" as they only stood guard when they faced the Klan as the Klan ran away;only once did a Deacon ever had to fire to defend an injured young girl. - Not the sort of actions taken by vigilantes.

Anywho, my bet for Bragging Rights is still on the table as I bet that crime in the Inner-City of Chicago will drop by Double Digits within Six Months; will you take it?

This is an issue that had been slowly building since President Woodrow Wilson and Bush pushed it along as well as the Left cried bloody murder but did little to stop it; now Obama has taken it to the next level as it's now the Right is crying foul.

This is the reason I don't care for the Demon-Rats or the Re-Pukes as they each take away the liberties of the people while pointing fingers at the other; wish that some more people would stand for the Constitution in Washington.

As a matter of principle, I won't go into debt on anything; by working, saving, and doing without, my husband and I were able to put 100% down on a nice small farm house, originally built in the '20's, with land in just under Five Years.

We won't go into debt for any reason as you pay more for what you're buying; we save until we have enough to buy outright.

What a country....a nation of intolerant racists and how do they once again show their "American exceptionalism" to the world?? By passing laws that allow nutjobs to not only carry weapons but to hide them. Just shows having a gun on your hip as a deterrent is not enough for these inbred idiots... now they are legislating for the blood thirsty to have oppurtunities to take lives. America's demise cant come soon enough.

So will you take my bet?

I'm for reviving the Deacons for Defense once again, and for expanding such self defensive actions in all of the inner cities; only once in their history (1964 to 1968) did they ever have to shoot someone as they provided security to civil right rallies, Freedom Riders, Southern Poverty Law Center, and Martin Luther King Jr. as a Klansman charged the car that was evacuating a Black Girl that had been beaten during a rally.
The Armed Blacks ended the Klans practice of marching through Black Neighborhoods by peacefully standing on the streets with their rifles at the ready, ended the threat of Klan turning away Black Children entering "White Schools" by overseeing them with Shotguns as the Klan found other matters to attend to; the Deacons were so effective, that in '68 the Klan had Congress & LBJ pass new restrictions on buying, and carrying guns thus ending the Deacons for Defense.

So far, 5,000 license applications have been approved and are in the process of being printed and mailed, Illinois State Police Col. Marc Maton said at a news conference in Chicago.
The first licenses likely will go to the earliest applicants: firearms instructors and others who submitted electronic fingerprints ahead of the official Jan. 5 launch of the online application process. The early applicants were part of a program to “beta test” the capacity of the system, Maton said.

This is very good for the good guys in the State of Illinois, and the City of Chicago; I will bet, for Bragging Rights, that within Six Months, the Violent Crime Rate in Chicago will drop by double digits; any takers?

She better get ready, Progressives will talk about her as if they're at a Klan Rally; they don't like Blacks who leaves the Welfare Plantation.

So true.

Ms. sumar.
If I had another daughter, she'd look just like you.flowerforyou

Better hope that she wouldn't be as wild as I was as a Teen; I was the mother of twins before I turned 16.

Holder hospitalized after experiencing 'faintness and shortness of breath'

Perhaps a higher power will do what Congress refuses to do for us bigsmile

Let's all pray that he receives his "just" reward.

Better to pray that he recovers; "Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him." - Proverbs 24:17 - 18

I would rather stick with the "just" reward and let his creator figure it out. Low be unto me to tell the creator what he must do one way or the other.

I do find it odd that as an Agnostic, I'm following the Bible better than some Christians on this issue.

Carter Woodson (Famous Black Educator and Author of The Mis-Education of the Negro) stated that unless Blacks advanced through merit, they'd remain with the mentality of Slaves; here are these Slave-Minded Black Students proving Mr. Woodson correct.

does the 'coalition of black pastors' have an official name?

or is that the press using colorful descriptions,,lol

interesting, not sure if its got grounds for an impeachable offense

I would take an approach of encouraging communities to get involved and community members to vote on the issue by state (states rights,,,)

rather than scapegoat one person,, but it makes for interesting print,,,

If Holder is found to Not Uphold the Laws of the Land, there is ample cause for Impeaching him; one could use Eric Holder's Press Statements as proof that he will not uphold the laws that Congress had passed.

The House could, with cause, pass Impeachment Papers against him, but the Senate would never take it up; the Demon-Rats would do anything to protect Obama, and Impeaching Holder, whatever the arguments, would be seen as an attack on the President.

Im making this declaration because no one seems to understand. I wish to explain it. Ive been seeing a married man for a year. He is the sweetest, sexiest guy Ive ever known! And the best lover Ive ever had. Ive come to the realization that I love him! If he would just hurry already and leave that woman he's married to we can finally be happy! I know what you may say.... hes married...you shouldnt be with him blah blah blah but no one knows our love. I wanted to post this because my co worker loves this site. And she talks to you guys all of the time... she said you people make her look at things she hadnt thought of before. I love Bobby very much...other than his wife..who he is divorcing soon. I dont see a downside.

The guy is just as likely to cheat on you in the future, when he is bored of you, as he has proven himself to do with his current wife.

Personally, I'd tell him goodbye as I begin to look for Mr. Right.

Isn't there something in the constitution about the government not able to impose certain laws over riding state laws

There is the Supremacy Clause in the Constitution which allows the Federal Government to enforce curtain laws in the individual states; but the States don't have to cooperate with the Federal Government in enforcing such laws, and currently many states are passing laws to prohibit state agencies from cooperating with a number of laws from Obamacare, to NSA, and other issues; there are even states which will not aid the Federal Government in enforcing curtain gun laws.

What do you think that the best way to get into women's pants is? Are you the romantic type that likes to take a lady out for a few drinks in a fancy wine bar to get her liquored up, or do you use some more traditional aproach?

Some guys just look for a woman on the corner who would let you in for cash if you're that hard up.

Please let that kind of licence plate be allowed in Georgia. That way everyone will know which drivers to stay away from.indifferent

Is that the mentality of those who are deficient in real history?
Or, race baiters?

My Husband own a St. Andrew's Cross Flag, no one ever calls him a Racist over it; he bought it back when he was into Re-Enacting for a time and now it sits collecting dust down in the basement inside a vinyl sleeve.
His Great-Something Grandfather was a Banner Guard during the Civil War and returned home on parole after some minor battle as the Union Army wasn't able to keep prisoners and tend to the wounded, so all the prisoners were paroled and sent home. (At least that's how the story is told)

One way to lessen "Income Inequality" would be to end Welfare; Money will always fly out of the hand of those who are careless with it, and into the bank accounts of those who care for it. Welfare is simply a means to enrich the wealthy as the poor become enslaved to the Government.

If I were to live with someone it would be in a commitment only.

I wouldn't 'marry' again in the legal government sense

but we would make a commitment and take vows,,,,

We actually agree on something; my Husband and I were never legally married, though we did have a wedding of sorts. We just don't believe that Government has any authority over personal relationships.
