Hot is so subjective. Whenever they do the 'sexist men alive' magazine editions' I always wonder who in the world did they poll because it wasn't me or ANY of the women I know.
With that being said, I'm going to choose honest with the understanding that my idea of hot doesn't necessarily follow social norms.

My ex finance taught me that a lot of a man's self esteem is wrapped up in his job and earning potential.

Both of my brothers have told me that my financial success will cause problems and despite what year we are in most people hold to traditional ideals in their hearts even though they may never verbalized them.

Dating someone very different from your financial bracket is done all the time, developing a relationship when those differences become apparent is something else entirely.

I've done LDRs before and I'm not interested in doing it again.

Absence doesn't make the heart grow fonder, it just emphasizes the loneliness.
Being in a relationship but still physically being alone sucks.

So you have a boyfriend, in my case, but you still spend Saturday nights alone, you still don't have a date to the concert you've been anticipating for months and you still come to an empty house after a long day at work when all you want is someone to hold you for 15 minutes.

So, I'm a person on dating websites that isn't interested in a LDR, fortunately I live in a HUGE urban city where there are lots of male options under 100 miles.
