Is it normal to have so many people sign up for sites like this and spend their time winking and nudging you, but never actually contacting or replying?

Never having signed up for any dating/relationship/sex sites before I used to think "Oh get a life" and you know what I'm still thinking "get a life".

There are so many people on here who are posting "I'm looking for..." but then do nothing by way of serious communication to make that happen.

What do you think, am I being harsh?
