I've seen my baby with all of the above, and he's handsome no matter how or if he shaves.

I have known soooo many people who loose without eating less or lower calories. It's simple really...eat all you want as long as it's low on the glycemic index.
The glycemic index of food tells the amount of sugar that is in it and how your body will burn it. The human body is designed to burn fat, not sugar, for everyday energy use. Sugar in small amounts is stored in the liver for use during those rare times it must burn energy faster for short intervals...like dodging that car that almost hit you in the street last week. Anything more than what the liver needs in reserve for this purpose is absorbed into the body, mostly the muscles, which requires insulin in order to accomplish. The main job of insulin is to take excess sugar and turn it to fat. The endless cycle begins here, as the body is making fat from this sugar, then stores it away because the body has plenty of sugar to run on at the moment. As long as the body has sugar to run on, it will not burn the fat stores it is saving. Note that your body already stores plenty of fat from FAT you eat, so unless you plan on hibernating for the winter, your body does not need the excess fat that your body makes from all the carbs and sugars you eat. If there is no sugar for your body to burn...it will burn the fat...burn the fat and you will lose weight...even without exercising, and even faster WITH exercise. The majority of what we eat nowadays contain carbs, which the body turns to sugar...so to lose weight the natural way, go back to eating the way your body was designed to eat. If you can pick it off a tree or bush, pull it from the ground, catch, kill and cook it, then it's what your body was made to run on. Stop eating processed foods and start eating what nature intended, and your body will look fit, run better and have no reason to produce, cancer causing, free radicals since you are no longer introducing foreign substances into it. It is also impossible to get Adult onset Diabetes from eating naturally, unless you eat nothing but fruits and nightshades for years. |

Wow, people...I just got worried about my sweetie when I didn't hear from him all night.
It's not like me to be a worry wart, so I felt pretty ridiculous by the time he called and I knew nothing was wrong. |

I met a girl last night
|
|
I was on Craigslist and I put an add for my self in the personals. I always got the spam replies until now. This girl Replied to the add and we went to a movie last night. She was so beautiful looking, and she had a great since of humor. We held hands during the movie and kissed after in the car. I can't wait to see her again. She is working all week until the weekends. How soon should I call hear to see hear again. I don't want to sound too needy and I also don't want her to feel like I let her down by not calling. |

I think it takes other people voicing their own discontent for us to begin to voice and act on our own problems sometimes.
Then again, some people are prone to jumping on bandwagons and rallying around someone with a cause. It is easy to begin to see a similar cause in your own life...even when it doesn't exist. Jealousy can play a role in some cases too. If he/she is not going to put up with that BS, then neither AM I! What they may not stop to realize, before becoming indignant and righteous, is that the person they are taking their inspiration from may be overreacting. Or maybe not...in which case please refer back to the first paragraph. |

Have you ever done something so uncharacteristic, that you were shocked at your own reaction? Have you ever had to ask yourself...where the hell did that come from? |

with other Mingle friends?
I think it would be hard not to do, especially when discussing forum topics in private. But how conscience and careful are you about guarding your Mingle friends identities when you know more than they would want others to know? Personally, I ask each friend if they want me to call them by their real names when they come up in a conversation with other friends. Otherwise, I'm careful not to let any info I'm privy to slip out that is not something they talk about in the open forum or that's not in their profile. What recommendations and tips can you offer about how you try to protect your friends here? |

Are you scared of death

I'm more afraid of it happening too soon, before I've done all I wish to accomplish, then of dying itself. I also worry about the people I will leave behind. It's sad to think of being someone's loss, when you know how painful your losses have been for you.

I say don't worry about it and concentrate on the one who does call you. That's what I'm doing and I know it works cause he's still calling.
