Most of the people I have met are pretty much what they say. I tend to talk the ears off someone before ill agree to even give them my number! So it takes a while for me to get to the meeting point.

Only one that wasnt what was expected was better than expected and then 6 months in TOTALY changed. By then he had moved into my house...... learned alot that time!

Is it that you are not finding someone to chat with and date? If thats the case just relax and concentrate more on finding friends and post in the forums so everyone can get to know your personality.... thats my best suggestion.

I'll answer almost all the messages I get now (non sexual), other than maybe the ones that look like scammers, ya know the ones that spell worth a hill of beans, I can do a typo or 2 but when everyother word, even the simple one r mis-spelled.... eh

Heck, I even had a guy "wink" at me and then "kick me in the butt" and I still messaged him.... WTF?

What I hate is when a guy messages me and I can seem to engage him in a conversation at all! Its like pulling teeth to get more than a 1 or 2 word answer, that gets frustrating after a while.

Msharmony. I agree there too! I think we all go through different stages at different ages, this happened to be a question posed to a 20 year old girl. Sometimes you have to exagerate (sp?) so that they get the point. As you get older and come to grips with the fact that you will die one day, you become a little more realistic.

The "lay down and die with them" aspect was more about the fact that, at first you feel lost,dont know what to do with yourself, dont know how to cope. That doesnt mean that in time you wont grieve and move forward.

Jemare.... Im right there with you on the flying thing! This girl does not fly! Im a basket case starting about 2 days before. Panic attacks, shaking, the whole 9 yards. Would a train be an option? It sounds boring but if you get a private car it can be fun! You even have your own bathroom and a little pull out bed!
