if america was to adopt some of france's controversial attempt to ban the hijab or the cloth women wear over their faces, how would americans view this? any opinion at all on the hijab in america? France did not outlaw the Hi jab . It is not allowed in certain work and school places . a shorter one is allowed though in all places . Also Sikhs and Jews are not allowed to wear their religious stuff in the same places . In France they have many Islamic schools like in Muslim countries . France understands the other cultures more than America . |

whatever belief system a person holds, and no matter how convinced this person is; this person will not have the absolute truth while walking this earth. whenever this person will get the confirmation or the denial of his/her whole life is right after passing away. so let's live this life to the fullest from wherever we stand. the most important thing is to be the happiest possible. However, I'm talking about real happiness, not the happiness provided by vanalities, but that happiness which give us peace of mind and heart. This real happiness can be reached from whatever position a person holds, the most important thing is being honest and sincere with ourselves. When the Canadian soldiers came back from Afghanistan and had a walk in a festival in Quebec City , people were calling them " terrorists '. If Canadians did this which I doubt. Then shame, shame, shame!!! It is true and I saw it on the news on CBC ( Canadian Broadcasting Corporation ) among other news networks . Those Canadians are called here " protesters "...! I call them living to their conscience . |

i have many conversations with folks w/regard to boycott and protests...and we're all too lazy or too busy or it's too hot or wahwahwah. you get what your apathy pays for. it's real easy to sit home and rag at the telly, and spout off online,and blame your unhappiness on the pres...but seriously what are you going to DO?! congress is full of non-bushes, and they're not doing anything better. so who's the next scapegoat? If the president is useless , the senate is useless and the congress is useless then it is the fault of the people who elected them . The people have the power to elect good , honest , and hard working politicians but thanks to the media propaganda and the Administration propaganda , they end up electing the rubbish of the nation . The people should educate themselves when it comes to politics and religion and not let themselves to be a game in the hands of some same, same, same CRAP. |

no not his fault for fires.but when you send people to die, based on a lie. then when it was his time to serve in vietnam he showed his true colors. but all government sucks, no matter what party, You mean the same colors that Clinton showed... Or did he at least serve in some capacity. Jeez ya'll bash this guy like he is actually important... Lame Duck... As far as lies. How many of you remember the first Gulf War. When US war planes crossed the border during the initial contact phase of the response to Iraq's invasion a massive armada of aircraft lifted off from all over Iraq. Most of the Iraqi planes in that armada where... He He He... CARGO planes (out of several hundred aircraft only 81 where identified as combat aircraft). They fled to IRAN. (Perhaps with the research material and resources to build nuclear weapons?) Iran promptly seized those aircraft and cause Saddam to protest loudly after that conflict wound down cause Iran would not give them back. (WOW Iran is now sporting a bunch of new missles and I wonder where they got the Tech for em) Is is possible that Saddam sent them there to protect them from US and just miscalulated the Iranian respons to such a 'gift'. Your point ?. Are you blamimg Iraq , Iran or America or all of them ?......I am lost following your logic . |

I am under the impression that some people here are getting a false sense of hope with all the profiles here cuz it seems like there are so many women here but they never come to the site to check messages. They sign up and forget about it shortly afterwards. They already found love and good luck to you . Why do you worry about them ?. Worry about yourself . i have to take a different view on afghanistan. this is one war i support. cant say the same for Iraq. but the taliban. are getting what they deserve. if someone would have not dropped the ball. we could have kicked talibans ass by now. What about the billions of people who think and believe that 9/11 was not done as the Administration says ?. Billions? 
The world has billions of people and yes billions believe the American Administration is a big LIAR . Those who know nothing at all in life laugh at themselves : poor ,poor little souls . |

If you beleive such women are murderers, believe it, but you should have no way or opportunity to point a finger or to have a say. It is not for YOU to say. The courts have an obligation to protect life . If someone wants to kill you or kills you , the court intervenes on your behalf . The murderer can not say it is his or her business to kill . It is up to the judge and jury to jail him or jail her . The same logic would apply here . |
