Can someone politely explain why people have the need for explanations, reasons, etc., when a relationship dies? While in a relationship if your significant other, your partner, your lover, bf/gf, husband/wife wakes up and decides he/she has had enough and wants out. What good would an explanation, reason, excuse be? What purpose will it fulfill save for validation? I would think it is nice to know the reason or reasons why a relatioship did not work and did not last . If it is our faults we try to change and if it their faults then screw them . Agreed it would be nice. But is it a necessity or will it help ease the pain, do you feel it is owed? I dont think so.JMO Question, if someone decides they no longer want to be with you, what would assigning blame do? does it matter whose fault it is in the end? would you really take that persons excuse/explanation at face value(afterall they just broke up with you)? I think it makes a lot of difference specially if you still love the person . when you know the reasons , if it is your fault you will try to change that but if it is their fault then you just carry on with your life as you can only change yourself but not others . |

Not sure if this is the right forum.But why if you have a drug or alcohol addiction,you can look in your phone book and fing AA or NA meetings everywhere? But if you have a gambling addiction there's only one place to meet.Yes my secret is out gambling has taken over my life for 15yrs.Now I live in a big city and there's only one place for GA meetings I find that to be very sad seeing we have one of the largest casions there is...your thoughts please Do not stop maybe you win millions soon

Bored & lonely. How the hell do some of you people do it? I'm a decent guy, honest, loyal, smart, funny, confident, with a good job and a healthy hobby, and I have to put myself through sheer hell sometimes to even get someone to talk to. Christ, I'm 22 years old and I've been on 1 date. Seriously, what in God's name am I missing? Or am I just supposed to be the definition of "nice guys finish last"?  .

Looking for that special Man whom can become my chat buddy---and chat for a long time and really get to know eachother....has respect for others and understanding, doesn't drink (or if he does only on special occassion) or smoke...is very family oriented....and just will enjoy cuddling, holding hands. kissing. slow dancing, walking, sports...music....if any guy out there is interested please let me know!!!
