Just As I Am
I come to you, just as I am.
Tell me your secrets and take me into your dreams, just as I am.
You see, in the words of Aretha, " A rose is just a rose." Just as I am.
Seeing me , just as I am.
A black woman, strong but at the same time fragile.
Unique as a flower, just as I am.
Brown skin, thick and sweet, just as I am.
My wrong is sometimes right and my rights are sometimes wrong, just as I
am.
Wish I knew just where I belong, just as I am.
Enchanting and beautiful, just as I am.
Just imagine that , absolutely breath taking, just as I am.
My words I write sing a colorful symphony, just as I am.
A glories gift of nature, just as I am.
I never questioned my father , who said, " God made no mistakes." Cos he
loves me , just as I am.
Will you black man love me, Just as I am?

Since age 40 always, lol. Life is grand!

Beautiful, Just beautiful

You know what , this is never easy. I have been divorced for 7 years. In
the beginnig I placed all my anxiety and pain into work, my daughter and
things. Then when my daughter got married and I was left alone, I was
lost and you know what you have never heard quiet like this kind. I have
learned that it is best to deal with your emotions and not always try to
be the big person by hiding them. it hurt a lot. I needed to cry more,
scream and yell some. I was married to this man for 17 years! Time has
been good to both of us and I am thamkful that he is and always has been
a good father. Now we are good friends and laugh about our memories and
you know what, A part of me will love him forever and that I can say and
be proud. Just because we as a couple failed, love was and always will
be there. Give yourself time......Timber

Hello all. It has been a crazy week for tipsy. very emotional. But I
still love all of you and look forward to talkin with all of you. By the
way , last night was just a waste of my time. kept getting hit on by
young guys. I have seen tragedy this week and I have had some personal
issues of my own to deal with also. One day I will share with you all
what this week had to offer. I love to write about what i feel from
anger to passion. For now I will leave for you one that is special to
me.

Lovers PrayerI pulled back my covers to settle in.First I must pray for
my lover again.You see God he is far away and althoughI can not touch,
feel or smell him he is in my heart and in my soul.His smile, hislaugh I
can hear with much delight and itjust seems to make all seem right.
Keephim safe and warm and from all harm. Letme come to him in his dreams
and love himbeyound what he can desire.Put me deepin his heart, Lord you
know that part. Give himstrength to fight the wants and needs of the
