......on the mark...I have been single most of my adult life...now w/my kids all grown....I like the idea of an other adult to hang w/that shares some of my likes and etc....but if It doesnt work out with the whoevers I do attract and visa versa...being alone cant be that bad..I know what good company I can be...I'm not gonna sweat it, somebody thinkin I'm pretty special will just be more icing on lifes cake...

...unfortunately we all have our hot buttons..mine is left field disrespect...not like when its an obvious joke ya know ...and some are still getting the rhythm of the threads...so be patient with each other ....I've seen a few times where a person did the same kinda thing they b*tched about someone else doing...we all need to monitor ourselves and kindly correct others. I know I dont like to feel attacked, it does not bring the best out in me !!!

...ooppps maybe I wasn't clear enough when I posted this outcome...but after he got back yesterday before he even talked to me he cut off all ties w/the person in question...his idea totally, I had just emailed my miss givings and left it up to him ...he stepped up and they are know longer in contact at all....his choice once again, and that is what made it feel so amazing I would have never expected such a gracious move at this point on his part, that is why I posted the above note...3 more hours on the phone last night we are still "golden"....thanks everybody !!!

...I believe you are correct in that assessment, a "bevy of beauties" is not going help you find that one person whom we just Click" with...I know it will run me off, left my competition filled days in Collage...been lookin for that one special "sticks out like a sore thumb" one to me since...competition can be so distracting we can loose site of the one we are drawn to because the "road blocks" to quote my honey...will make us choose a different course of action...I've ran, walked and skipped away more than once, from a crowd clamoring to derive the attention of a love interest most of my adult life...




....I dont believe that is the case often...I am of the school that the average women more than men knows exactly what she is doing to attract the goal of her pursuit...I want to give some the benefit of the doubt, but life experiences have taught me..."All's fair in love & war" is really a template for many peoples system of directives !!!
