HUH? No one else wants to be tortured with Peach Cobbler??

Ask Omar Khad if he was tortured with peach cobbler.

Despite having had charges against him dropped twice, Omar has been continuously held by the U.S. for nearly five years, much of it without being charged or provided access to lawyers. Moreover, it remains the position of the U.S. government that even if acquitted by a military commission, Omar could remain imprisoned at Guantánamo for the rest of his life.

Even innocent they'd hold him. Great system.frown frown

I'm sure he was tortured with Peach Cobbler, since it is on the menu...

i think the person who throw that shoe. he should be giving the noble peace prise. he done what millions of people only dream about.

I agree....we gave the Nobel Peace Prize to Yasir Arafat....a KNOWN terrorist....so why not the shoe thrower....

Hopefully one day, they will come out with a "Nobel War Prize" for those who make it their mission to stop conflict....

They have been allowed to be bully's all their lives so why would they change when there is no one big enough around to stop them?

Sad fact is now days it is not that uncommon for women to be equally abusive toward husband's.

YES! VERY true, Pacific...I am a statistic of that myself!

Personally, whether I am pro or anti the war in Iraq, regardless how I feel about everything...

....this was pathetic, even on the Iraqis part. I don't care how much they hate Bush...this is downright disrespect for anyone.

We don't have a Saddam monument do we?

Can you imagine a sculpture of a shoe in your neighborhood?

Nope, because it's pointless...

If serving peach cobbler is torture, I'm in!!

Peach cobbler? Perhaps you are not aware of the kind of torture and abuse these captured prisoners are enduring, are you? In order to get away with breaking International Laws governing the proper and humane treatment of prisoners of war, as well as civilian captives in times of war (as the Bush administration did not recognize the Taliban and Al Quaida serving under a legitimate government and thus NOT P.O.W.'s!)the U.S. government has kept these "enemy combatants" outside of U.S. soil. Read up on the Geneva Convention and you'll see that the Bush administration has been engaging in unlawful and inhumane treatment of these human beings.

It does not really matter what the intentions of these prisoners were. If we start acting like them, then we become no better than them.

Were you there?

...I thought not.

Your post is meaningless...
