Statistical averages, not negative...realistic...another aspect of life children tend to have issues with. Look you can dwell in being single all you want, me...well I'm going to have fun with it, that is really the reason I did this in the first place and could honestly care less what your opinion is of it...don't like it don't read it. 90% of all statistics are made up. Youre not bored. Youre BORING. Fertile minds never get bored. Unless they lack discipline of course. I would completely agree with that if we were not talking about relationships. If you find yourself being bored by yourself, then the above could hold logic, but in terms of relating to someone quite apart from yourself, I think that being bored with someone else is entirely possible. Some could argue that you could just use more creativity and be more proactive to maintain a modicum of interest, however, if the other person has no interest in doing the same, then you will inevitably sink into a state of boredom with that individual. The counter to that, is maybe you are not all that interesting yourself, which causes the other person to become bored, and thus make you bored in turn, although the same could be said of that individual as well and then we are just talking in circles. My point being is that it is up to you to make things interesting, and if the person you're with would be counter-productive to that goal, then find a new person, or try to motivate them to become interesting. |

Pretty deep, but I would have went without the "alone forever" at the end of the first poem. If you were trying to win her back, those two words would have been pretty counterproductive, especially placed at the end. I like the phrasing though.
