^^^^...you must be related to madamn, dragon and that other stooge.... so you asked for proof, you were given proof and your answer to that is to attack the person? THAT speaks volumes. you call that proof?...I guess to someone in your class and as desperate as you are it would be considered proof..and the attack as you call it...your desperation is really showing... |

Quit putting the cart before the horse! Veteran, E-5, US Army Infantry!! Good enough? These men are vets too. "Serious mistakes [were made] in the immediate aftermath of the fall of Baghdad," Colin Powell, former secretary of state and Joint Chiefs chairman, said in a speech last week. "We didn't have enough troops on the ground. We didn't impose our will. As a result an insurgency got started, and it got out of control." In this, Powell echoed former Army chief of staff Gen. Eric Shinseki, who told Congress just weeks before the 2003 invasion that several hundred thousand US troops would be necessary to secure Iraq after the invasion. For this he was publicly contradicted by then Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz. Rumsfeld named General Shinseki's replacement a year before he was to retire and broke custom by not attending his retirement ceremony. I missed the point you are trying to make about being a vet... and it would be nice if you could paste some factual info instead of all that worthless hearsay |

I would much rather have someone like McCain with experiences than Obama who has no knowledge of the military and would have to blindly rely on someone else to tell him what to do... Yes, but then again Bush had absolutely no experience in military affairs. Unless you consider the Air National Guard , where he was absent from duty most of the time. He blindly relied on Cheney and Rummy to guide us there ignoring the advice of all the experienced Generals who told him it was unnecessary and what would happen. He didnt go in with any plan for the occupation and is responsible for the cluster-**** we have experienced since. Hell, several Generals retired, even Powell quit because his advice was never heeded. then all the more reason to elect McCain... oh and your info on Bush is incorrect.... |

how many of the towns residence are of voteing age? the article said it wasa 50% turnout I would assume it was for eligable voters. madman ..... Whoa ........... You posted the cut/paste job that initiated this thread. Why are you asking questions?! You just proved my point, which is you find anti-American, anti-Bush, and anti-USA Military dribble, plagarize it, and post it. You never check to ascertain if something has truth in it and merits your starting a thread about it. Wait a minute. Now I understand why you are asking questions about your own post. You know what you bring to this forum is trash, so why should you read it!? Your methodology is to find a piece of work with a title that demeans America and all it stands for .... then cut/paste. When people call you out, run/hide/sulk like an angry baby. The new photo suits you and that scenario. |

Make it damn plain to all media at the scene that if they cross the hotline and enter the scene, they will be stripped naked,
some of those female reporters are pretty attractive....this might be an incentive to move the line right behind one of em.... |

I would much rather have someone like McCain with experiences than Obama who has no knowledge of the military and would have to blindly rely on someone else to tell him what to do... actually i would be more afraid of someone with no experience like Obama NOT following what his advisors tell him to do. I am afraid that he will actually try to take charge and try to do things HIS way. either way it isn't a great senario...I don't understand why anyone would want to take a change to put someone in a job whose qualifications are not sufficient..... |

I don't even know how anyone in here, unless they have been a president of a country, could say what is acceptable and what isn't acceptable because they just don't know....

It's all about ratings and who gets the story aired first. Who's fault is that?. The rating depend on how many people are tuned in and the media companies I'm sure would claim they were only doing what the consumer wants. And they do have a valid point...so who is to blame? Well, pose that question to a fireman/EMT trying to save a house and/or life and see the reaction you get. You do not get in the face of someone who is trying to put out a fire or doing cpr on an individual just for the sake of a story. Unless, perhaps, you want the hose turned on you. Really, there has to be a line drawn. Lindyy I wasn't agreeing with their tactics. I watch maybe an average of 10 minutes of tv a week. I was just expressing the publics hunger to watch other people's misfortunes. The media is feeding that hunger so which one has to be dealt with to cancel the other? Oh, I know northrn yanke. I understood what you were saying. But still, they were not only putting the firemen in unnecessary harm's way, but themselves too. That was a huge explosion, 15 houses damaged from it. And, there the grandfather is in the driveway getting cpr. My son called again and said that he was already dead on the scene, but they were still trying to revive him. My son has seen so many DOA's. I do not know how he handles it. One time there was a really bad accident, the 'jaws of life' had to be used to get the passengers out. This was a case where the young teenager had to be handled very carefully because of the obvious injuries. One wrong move and he could have been paralyzed. My son was the one who had to hold the kid's head in place while getting him out. Months later, the teen (via a friend of mine through me to get to my son) wanted to ask Jaime about the accident. He could not remember anything and wanted to know what the accident scene was like. Jaime would not talk to him, always made excuses because he said the kid 'would not really want to hear how bad it all was.' Lindyy you son is a very courageous person, you must be very proud and pleased with your efforts to guide him to be who his is. |
