The Harvard Medical School also reports the following: From the Wexner Medical Center of Ohio State University: has been at the forefront of this field.
In short, qualified medical scientists have found My husband is a neuroscientist. He also eats fairly well and still developed chronic heart disease. Our doctors at the highest-rated Heart Facility in Germany told him he had to have either a series of 17 stents or a triple-quadruple by-pass (yes they were fighting amongst themselves. He refused ALL surgery and opted to go on a plant-based diet with no oil, I bought him a dog to make him go walking. Our doctors told us this would NEVER work. In Sept 2018 his LVEF was at 17%. Feb 2019 it was at 50% with normal be 55-65%. Many of the things Harvard is studying, same with Ohio are all things done by "unqualified" others for decades, even centuries. I am not here to say All science is wrong, but the idea that everything can be proved scientifically is not accurate. For your immune system to improve, you need dirt (yes the true source of Vitamin B-12 is actually dirt. So being a clean freak is not good. Go see the experiments of super cleaner houses in Japan and the US compared to those who lived in more dirty environments and dirty kids get sick much less even though they are exposed more. However, being grateful, being happy, laughing (see: Norman Cousins) all improve immunity. Sleep and good exercise do as well. So for us: Plant-based, now adding some cold-water fish, we drink Vitamin C about 5 grams a day over the whole day. We take a few select vitamins like B complex, Omega 3 from krill, DHEA and Pregnenolone, digestive enzymes, and probiotics. We do avoid dairy and use nearly no oil. Eat about 60% of our food in a raw state and unprocessed. Now my husband is an amazing cook and knows how to put most meals on the table in 10-25 minutes. We are doing Home Office and he set alarms so we dance for 5-10 minutes per hour and manage to do that about 5 times a day. Simple just have music on (we were gifted Spotify so we use that) and just get up and dance and wave your arms, That will get you heart beating. We also lift some weights we have to improve and keep upper body muscle tone. My husband is 69 and I am 38 and actually he is healthier and way stronger than I am. If you want to try a simple thing to prove how your posture and mood are related do the follow: Stand up, about 9 feet-3 meters from the wall. Look down at the floor about 3 feet 1 meter from the wall, slump your shoulders, frown and think about all the terrible things you can think of. and feel how you feel. Do that for 30 seconds, which will feel like forever. Next look up to where the wall meets the ceiling. Put a big huge smile on your face, like you won the lottery for 10 million, lift your chest up like there is a string pulling it to the ceiling and stand there taking deep slow breaths for 30 seconds. You will instantly feel the difference an these things have been measured by scientists (I don't think they are all bad but do think some of the WooWoo people could learn to be a bit more something when speaking)to increase releases of positive brain chemicals. This is why the Fake it until you make it works. You can fool your mind with your body and create a new habit. Those are ours, my husband's list is far longer.
