I like mine dark and rich.

Coffee that is.

laugh

almost done with my pot of coffee but i like 1 1/2 spoons of sugar and flavored creamer
I got so distracted that I poured grounds into the water reservoirlaugh

Good to see ya.:)

That's the problem with having to make coffee first thing in the morning: You haven't had any coffee to wake you up so you can do it properly.

Joined in June of last year with my buddy Mark..but never posted. Came back 2 weeks ago today and absolutely love it.

Kojack..thanks for your (and the site's) respect of we ladies. What a refreshing difference, to NOT be bugged by pervs everytime I sign in.

Love the site, and love the respect of ladies aspect. Also, like the way the site is moderated. I don't feel like I'm in grade school in here.

Our "gang" is growing..flooding over from another site and I do believe we will be staying.

Kudos to the site owners and the mods. Markecephus and Kojack have always been gents, so can't say I'm surprised.

I believe all of your hard work has paid off nicely. And hello to the oldsters and newcomers! I have already settled into my new "home", and made a wonderful new friend, too. Look for more of our "gang" as word is quickly spreading.winking

I too joined awhile ago at Mark's urging and just basically lost track of the site until Papersmile reminded me about it.

I love the feel of this place. It's very laid-back and relaxing. I think our bunch of refugees will be staying around for awhile.

I wish my mother had whipped the snot out of me when she caught me smoking. Instead she tried to pull the "cool parent" routine, which did not one bit of good.

I'm very excited, feels like im going to be home once i get there and would'nt want to come back. Is there a place that feels like home for you but you live elsewhere?

I was born in Memphis, I live in Arkansas, but I call Mississippi home. (I've lived in a number of other places as well).

My husband and I had our own ag business* for ages, which means I know a lot of crap about agriculture (yuck yuck). Plus I love our environment and want to see it preserved and protected. But the fact that I'm a crap expert is definitely my best qualification!

*Fertilizers and such.

Oh yeah...plus I've lived in about umpteen podunk rural towns, so I speak the language and know the needs first-hand.

Oh definitely DO NOT go watch him! That's bound to make him nervous, and that's when accidents are likely to happen!

If you are a praying person, send up a prayer or two. If you are not, well, this might be a good time to start!winking

You're in the south. You sure those aren't cicadas you're hearing??!!

Your profile looks fine to me. You give people a good look into your personality, and you let folks know where they stand, both of which should help cut down on "false starts," if you will.

Since makeup items such as eye shadow have a "safety shelf life," you might want to wait a bit closer to Christmas before you make your purchase.

Found one for Ruth:

I think a great one for a kick-ass woman like Ruth would be:

Attorney General
Department of Justice (1870):
Enforces and defends the Federal laws of the United States by preventing and controlling crime, seeking just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior; and enforcing the Nation's immigration laws.

shades Geesh I mean I'M scared of her .......

scared scared scared

Yeah, Ruth would be good at that!

Q, you're too much!

He's joking around because folks like Q and me have few childhood memories due to...uh...exposure to certain toxic weeds in our teenage years.

Hey everyone...

I made it through Gustav...

Now we're just hoping that Ike doesn't go where it's being forcasted to go....in the gulf which means we're gonna be at risk again....

One major storm a year is enough!!!!!

This makes my 4th since 1992...

Andrew
Katrina
Rita(a month after Katrina,if you remember)
Gustav

I hear ya'll caught a good bit of Gustav there in Red Stick, Keith. Hope things are getting back to normal. (I lived in Baton Rouge when I was little bitty and have family down there still).
