Common all you MR. FIXITS...Take a bow! I build, improve and repair things nearly all day, everyday. I came up through the construction trades and now I'm self employed with a sterling reputation and plenty of work, even during this "slow-down". It's nice to get kudos but I can't say that being "handy" has really made a difference in my personal romantic life.

I seem to have less tolerance for violence, derogatory language, prejudice, and such. Does this intolerance for vulgarity come from becoming more educated or increasing age? Just wondering what people have to say about the topic. I think, after having seen and heard so much of it, that you just eventually get tired of all the crazy bs in the world. Those attributes are all childish in nature and feeds an ego which is unsatisfied in itself and compensates by taking it out on everyone else. Or... You maybe forgot to take your meds sweetie...

I am not sure if people are angrier these days, but being able to post in forums, from a computer, not face to face, people think they can say whatever they want. However they want. No matter how angry it is. I tend to agree here,A few months ago I questioned what happen values,ethics,and morals.We all have them, but we don't use them to benifit our lives.Seems now to many lash out with anger, when someone doesn't agree. I agree, so don't go peeing in my cornflakes ok ?

It is why things are so confusing these days. So much wrong is camouflaged beneath good intentions. More and more around me I see people outright disputing and belittling the Lord and the Bible. I see mans lusts and desires placed as the ultimate priority and religion toted as the restrictive, judgemental , enemy. ITs a time to pray even harder because we are so desensitized to everything that we dont feel comfortable standing up for ANYTHING unless we can be sure that it will be the POPULAR and irrefutable opinion. yes... so true, so true... |

It is the basic tenet of Xianity and the answer to "Who killed Jesus?" Why you did of course, if no one else very lived except you, he would have to die for your sins. I think it's a "yes or no" question, unless you're trying to change the topic.

Enough from the peanut gallery already... Back to the topic... I haven't had time to really keep up with the story. Can anyone tell me whether or not if there's going to be an in depth investigation as to why this "officer" wasn't red flagged before he went postal? I mean, didn't anyone see it coming ? I think that is one approach his counsel will take. HE is not talking without his lawyer at this point and I think the best defense he could have is if he had a documented illness leading up to this event that went unchecked. Hmmm, okay... So he's going to use the insane in the membrane defense, and it's not his fault because someone should have read his crazy mind and stopped him before he commited bloody, murder... Figures... It staggers the mind... I dont know, isnt that what they do with post partum depression and these mothers who kill their children? Many take mental health as seriously as physical and a persons state of mind plays a part in many verdicts. I don't know either. It just seems to me that accountability has to enter into the equation sometime. I may be wrong but I think we're all responsible, ultimately, for our own state of mind so whether it's depression, stress, fatigue or whatever, there has to be justice for the families left devastated by these people, sick,lame, lazy OR crazy... just my opinion.... |
