If the middle class isn't spending, the economy collapses. Hense the recession. With the $600 single rebate, $1600 household rebate for the middle class it will jump start our economy. Retail will be the first effected. The back bone of the economy. This jumpstart will cause the housing market to recover in about 1 1/2 years to 2 years.
