Just got laid off due to virus. I'm Sorry that has happened. It is understandable, since the schools are now closed in my area, I sent the contractors home and put the job on hold for now. Hated to do it, but I would rater be safe than sorry. Now I am doing nothing but letting the dogs out and cleaning dog poo. |

I personally am concerned. No one was accountable for his major leak. If I was Private Manning, I would have done exactly the same thing... I guess I will play the Devil's Advocate 
As for Pvt. Manning, what happened to the NCO's and officers in charge? Nothing that has been reported. Because it is a good old boy culture.

I disagree that he is a terrorist. What is your definition of a terrorist? Any person, agency, or government that through action or inaction causes harm to personal or a public body. (According to the USA) This includes News agencies, press correspondents and those whom tell only the partial truth. Freedom of press is fine and should be a legal right in all countries. Only then can we see the people elected or not, that dish out lies to sway the public opinion for the gain of money or power. Is it right when a reporter withholds a story, or word smiths it to the point that it is in his best interest? Is that the truth then. Write the story with the slant toward your opinion? What he did was a terrorist act as defined in this country. He is just the first step in the link of many failures. The ones that condoned his actions by providing the information I feel are more guilty. Governments all over the world try to suppress the truth to CYA so to speak. They basically just want to stay in power. Furthermore since the crime did not occur in the US, they should not have jurisdiction. There is no evidence anyone has been harmed, besides Hillary Clinton loosing the last election because of Wikileaks. In fact Trump benefited by WikiLeaks. So why is the USA trying to extradite him in your opinion? Brandon\Chelsea Manning paid the price, so why go after Julian? True there is no evidence that we are aware of. The reason why is because someone got burr up their south end. So this takes us back to the four basic human emotions. The emotion in this instance is Anger. Basically when an event or an act that happens to you and you want to change it you become angry and take action. This action is based on your beliefs about the consequences of the act/event that has happened to you. H+E = B IMHO they are just being the egotistical egotist that they are. Grubbing for power in any way they can. (Better than saying they got their shorts in a wad). |
