I appreciate contributions being made, but... meh, I couldn't get into any of those. Thanks anyway.
Anyone got anything with some really good flow to it? Maybe like Tonedeff's verse here in "Love Ain't" by CunninLynguists: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9TAzc54IEo |

The mentions of martial arts and oriental spiritualism mixed with a love of hip hop is actually pretty cool man. Get something recorded! Half of these are guys rating other guys , how they even feel comfortable putting a number on another guys looks is beyond me. Being fairly secure about ones heterosexuality I'd assume. You know, as opposed to being afraid it'd make one seem gay. Or maybe some are gay. It's all good anyway.

Eh, I'm paler than the moon, but for the past few years I've been exclusively with Latinas.
This is however incidental, not because of race. Point is, it typically doesn't matter. I'm with Ash, I want to try some variety and diversity. |

..I feel cheated by reality. I take it the birthday has come and gone? That means you have another..coming :-) Haha, it's in July. Just feel cheated that I haven't a single message on my phone. |

Oh, another one I forgot: Timeless Miracle. Got into them a year or two again. They're pretty awesome and one of those bands where every song seems to be some fantastical story. Just to fit the "epic".

Crushing on someone who's orientation isn't compatible can suck. (I ended up with a crush on a friend who's lesbian. We're good friends anyway though, so all is good.)
Anyway, a good friend won't let it matter and get in the way of the preexisting friendship. Best of luck in other pursuits. |

I dreamed I was in a world where Twilight didn't exist, then I woke and realized it was all a dream. Sigh. |

Haha, I'd have loved tiny bits of reality floating about from this...
It was receiving a message from my friend about how she had bought herself sexy lingerie to wear for me on my birthday and couldn't wait. I feel cheated by reality. |

I was just going to mention... those are Power Metal and Symphonic Metal.
Well, for those genres I'd say some Sonata Arctica, perhaps Masterplan, Demons & Wizards, Rhapsody of Fire, Iced Earth (loosely fits and depends on the album), Symphony X, Blind Guardian, and MAYBE DragonForce. Damn, I was hoping for discussions on In Flames or Children Of Bodom. |

I hate to read so I always wait for the movie. There's a lot of excellent books that still have, and may never get film adaptations, won't knock ya for not liking to read, but you're missing out on some good stuff. Or just never proper adaptations... As a fan of Frankenstein, I'm still waiting on what I feel is a good and faithful adaptation. Not that crap with Kenneth Branagh. |

Haha, that is strange...
And now my dream isn't so strange. Just disappointing. |

Have you ever still been dreaming as you wake up, so you think something really cool just happened but it was just that dreaming?
Then you maybe feel disappointed because you realize nothing remotely like it happened, though it seemed so real. That just happened to me... |

I like to read so its a given to read the book before a movie. Gives way more detail to what happening but I agree with disappointment of what you create in ur head vs movie I definitely agree with this sentiment. There's a few movies I'm holding off on watching just cuz I'd like to read the book first. Granted it's a show, I actually felt that watching season 1 of Dexter was probably more enjoyable from having read Darkly Dreaming Dexter beforehand. |

This applies kind of loosely, but since mixed genres are there, I'd also list Near Dark.
A modern vampire film, but with subtle western elements. As per usual, Lance Henrikson was awesome in it and oddly so was Bill Paxton. |
