What for you mean by "writing it off"?

Sometimes you have to accept the best you can be is friends. You should face the music and just have an actual discussion with her, whatever the outcome, you should, if you are really friends, be able to remain as such. It is better than fretting and stressing yourself over it.

Writing it off means don't pursue it. Just be friends.

Crushing on someone who's orientation isn't compatible can suck. (I ended up with a crush on a friend who's lesbian. We're good friends anyway though, so all is good.)
Anyway, a good friend won't let it matter and get in the way of the preexisting friendship. Best of luck in other pursuits. |
