Yes. Granted there are low points and I could be doing better in multiple areas of life... more than ever before, I find myself able to keep up the right state of mind. That's what happiness is. I know I can be happy without any reason but being alive.

Don't tell me what I believe. I just clearly stated "I don't believe in any gods." NOT "I believe there are no gods." If you cannot understand the difference, you cannot understand my perspective, so don't try. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh My GOD ![]() ![]() ![]() Why do you find that to be funny? I find it very funny to see how 'god made men' are arguing over the existence of god. I also find it funny, how he is terming in plural form to GOD ( as GODS) despite of not believing in GOD. ((( BTW,it seems as if you have some objection on my reactions!!))) ![]() I say gods because it's what I mean. I don't just not believe in the Abrahamic God, I don't believe in any deities. So yeah, I say gods because I don't believe in The Goddess, Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesha, Devi, Surya, etc. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Very funny indeed. Keep it up,all the best ![]() ![]() Yes, how hilarious it is to be mindful that there are other religions and systems of belief in the world. Also, I was never arguing about the existence of any god or the lack thereof. |

I'm still a big fan of the 70's live-action TV series version of Spider Man. Also the TV series version of The Incredible Hulk with Bill Bixby. I can't blame you... speaking of, anyone else geek out a bit when Lou Ferrigno showed up in The Incredible Hulk? ![]() |

Well, we can tell from some of the post how hard they have designed religion to recover from eh? We can also tell by some of the posts that lack of religion is in itself a form of religion... those that propound a need for religion to be gone do so with the same fervor that a religious person proclaims their faith. Neither religion nor its opposit will I follow... I will simply place my faith in God. You may believe what you wish (but please do not force it upon me - I have a big stick also). Doesn't apply to all who aren't religious. You can't assume the same of all people who happen to not be religious. Lack of religion is not in itself a religion. It just occurs that some who aren't religious follow some of the same behaviors as those who are. Atheism is just as much of a religion as Christianity, Buddhism, ect ect. Religion - Details of belief as taught or discussed If you "believe" there is no God, that in itself is then a "belief". I don't believe in any gods. That doesn't necessarily mean I state a belief that there certainly is none. It's the absence of a belief, not a belief in itself. Also, it's certainly not details taught. I didn't learn atheism from anyone, it was just natural. It's hardly even important for me to identify as one except when people try to bring up religion. If anything, it was always the intent that I was taught to be religious... and I was... as a child. Atheism is a single "trait", or rather lack of a belief. Not a set of beliefs. Not believing in gods is the beginning and end of what defines atheism. Nothing more. It's a single "trait" and not even one that's necessarily entirely separate of certain religions. (Atheistic Buddhism anyone?) Religion is multiple organized beliefs and rules that one adheres to. I'm not adhering to any beliefs or rules with no gods. I don't believe, so the thought becomes irrelevant. Aside from discussions on religion, gods are hardly on my mind. If not believing in gods is a religion, not collecting stamps is a hobby. Atheism is a single "trait", or rather lack of a belief. Not a set of beliefs One can not have a lack of a belief. You believe there are no gods, thus a belief. Would you call your lack of belief in the Hindu gods a belief in itself? Or not believing in the Wiccan Goddess? We're all atheists of someone else's religion. |

I dont think The Walking Dead made it to movie yet but I love the series! Looking to get a hold of the comic series (hopefully cheap) lol Many book stores carry volumes of the comic... My experience hasn't led to much that's cheap though. |

I can answer that. I am opposed to same sex marriage and I have said I dont feel same sex sex is healthy or natural. Never said I was 'scared' of anyone though,, not sure where the phobia part comes in,,,lol Regular sex is not healthy either. its healthy enough to create life,,, Actually sex is quite healthy for someone physically and mentally. To much sex is unhealthy, but sex in general is healthy. But sex with the same gender is not healthy. Yeah it may be physically and mentally healthy in general, but it unhealthy for it is unproductive. Sex is for reproduction, for populating the world. This can not be done by same sex intercourse. Not causing reproduction just makes it neutral health-wise... unhealthy would imply harm to health. It is unhealthy to the sociaty in general. And on a personal level to a degree. Personal - Causing many diseases and unwanted pregnancies. Sociaty - Again diseases and adotption and or abandoned children, or more common families with a step dad or possibly step mom. Wait, is this in reference to too much sex or to same-sex/sex that doesn't result in reproduction? I realize I didn't properly specify, but all I was referring to before was for the latter mention. Both on the disease part.... would be kind of hard for unexpected children with same sex incidents lol. Disease can happen regardless of if it's opposite or same-sex though. If two people have only ever slept with one another their entire sexual life, there is no possible way for a STD to occur. If man followed God's plan, there would be no such thing as "STD"'s. Homosexuality. Even if it's the same partner for life, can still cause an STD. If two gay people had only slept with one another their entire sexual life, there is no difference aside from the fact that no pregnancy could occur... Where would they be at any higher risk for an STD? |

Captain America was very good. Actually, it really surprised me with how good it was. Have to say the ending was great too when Steve Rogers says "I had a date"! That is just pure gold to end the film with. I loved that. I admit to starting to form some man-tears when Steve and Peggy were talking over the radio before, well... you know. |

So, just thought it should be known I'll be growing a beard. You know, no real reason... Oh say it isn't so! At the risk of sounding like a letcherous old Grandma ( I have grands almost your age) You look hot you definitely don't want to jck it up with a beard. Eh, still not shaving. I'll trim... but shaving sucks. |

I wish I had seen First Class and Kick-A$$ to properly judge this, but I definitely agree on Spider-Man 2 and Nolan's Batman films so far.
With the leftover spots, I'd probably have to place... Captain America: The First Avenger: Aside from being highly entertaining, I feel like the film was very faithful to the source and fully embraced its comic book roots while simultaneously being actually well-written, providing proper characterization, and being fairly mature. It was fantastical, but well-handled. In days where there seems to be a demand for gritty, "realistic" takes, modernization and anti-heroes, the film stuck to the core of the character and comics and was not ashamed to do so. Basically, it was a pretty pure superhero-adventure film. Chris Evans did well as Steve Rogers before and after receiving the serum, was fully like-able, and really distanced himself from the crap that was Fantastic Four. Plus, Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull? Win. I'll give some thought to my second choice... Nothing's currently hitting me. |
