Whether its getting that assignment done or asking that pretty girl to the freshmen homecoming dance, why does the younger generation (or human kind overall) have a torturous fetish with waiting to the last minute and screwing ourselves over repeatedly??

p.s. contrary to your seemingly personal belief, smiling more *won't*, in fact, kill you. It's actually quite disarming, which adds yet another edge to your arsenal of charms. :)

TBH, i'm hella surprised you're still standing at all! Any girl with half a brain should have come along and swept you off your feet ages ago, (if the universe still has half a mind to play by the logic of odds and chance).

On the other hand... there may not be many females around woman enough to do it.

My solution, according to your interests, dare somebody! :D

Observe them for awhile, and craft an off-beat and applicable line based on first (or second or tenth) impresssion gathered. (Some may be content to sit in a corner and stalk with the eyes til a killer hook crosses their thoughts).

Also, the ever-popular time-tested walk up and "Hi!" gets their attention pretty well. Just be prepared to follow that up with a witticism of sorts to charm them into a conversation :)
