"The one who cares least controls the relationship." Gender unbiased question. Yay or nay? The words 'controls' and 'relationship' don't belong in the same sentence to me - at least not like that. A true healthy relationship doesn't have a controlling role on either side. |

... I understand that height is an attractive feature in a man, but it seems like these women are slamming the door on a very wide range of men, considering the national average for U.S. is 5'-9". Maybe true - there are things that turn all our heads at first glance. Let's face it, I'm no Barbie doll and probably don't turn a lot of heads at first glance either. I'd rather have someone who can KEEP my head turned with their character, integrity, personality, humor, wit, smile, intelligence, etc. etc. etc. Those things that are truly important to me can come in any size package. ...and we're all the same height when we lay down

I hope today brought a new perspective for you during this disaster. It can't be said too much -- "everyone is OK!!". I know, memories are attached to the things - but we carry our memories in our hearts and mind. Those can't be taken from you
I hope the many details and necessities are working out as painlessly as possible. It'll be a long road. I hope you'll both find you are stronger than you thought

If you have to choose Love or money What you choose ......and why? I hope I would never be forced to choose, but I would like to think I'd choose love. I can always make money ~ somehow, someway. Real love is far more uncommon and rare and not something that comes along very often. Money is nice and can provide a lot of creature comforts. Ideally, there is someone special to share those comforts with at the end of each day. With that being said - thankfully I've never gone hungry or without a roof over my head, so maybe I'm just a romantic at heart after all. |

Maybe I can't tell you what it is. But I can tell you what it isn't. Love isn't materialistic. Love isn't money. Love isn't sex ..but it is far better when involved. Love isn't giving up. Love isn't walking away. Love isn't fear. Love isn't doubt. Love does not know hate. Love does not commit infidelity. In fact. Love is nothing but a word. That is until one day. Someone walks into your life. And suddenly. That word has meaning. And the purpose you swore. That's not made for you. Now comes in your size.
