They problem is the teachers have to teach to make the kids pass the almighty standardized test...believe me I've gone head to head with teachers and a principal over whether my child learns or can just recite by rote.

Absolutely....my best male friend is a man I dated almost 10 years ago....now we protect each other by offering advice, comfort each other when we hurt and are there for each other when things are not going well despite living 2 hours away.....I've always said were I ever to marry again this friend would walk me down the aisle...

I once asked my Baptist preacher when I was 14....what about all the people in other countries that have never heard of the Bible...do they all go to hell? He answered it's our job to all go out and try and teach them. Even then I didn't find that a practical or reasonable explanation. I believe you pray to whom you feel most comfortable and the message gets there regardless...I cannot believe in a faith where someone goes to hell over something they know nothing about. Do what comforts you and you will find your answer is my thought.

I'm wondering why his family is agreeing to be added....or is it an automatic add? I mean with family it is family and that is where the line does pretty much get drawn as opposed to mutual friends. There is also a difference between hacking someone off and cyberstalking. I'd question where the loyalties lie and request the family block her. If she continues by making new accounts report her. I had a friend that had a cyberstalking incident turn into a real life event and he ended up in prison. Sometimes people aren't just trying to hack you off. Not trying to scare anyone but I'd advise caution to prevent an escalation.

Just don't be surprised if "activity partner" for a woman you meet online means you pay and no sex or relationship....I've had a lot of male friends burned online, unfortunately.

I supposed I'd have to seriously look. I found one once but was too young. They are out there but with baggage just like us. The difficult part is finding the one that is compatible enough that you can be together and yet has those qualities you want and you have his. The days of single, no baggage, perfect man is really not an easy thing to find but I'm sure they're out there wondering the same thing about us.
