GO FOR A SECOND OPINION. I'm, not kidding. We have a 4-year-old boy in our house who we thought (and specialists thought) had a lazy eye. It was really crossing terribly. They did the eye patch thing and everything and nothing worked... he did therapy a few times a week or months and months and didn't appear to show any improvement. They ended up taking him to an optimologist and sure enough he's just VERY farsighted. The problem was he couldn't focus on anything so his eyes were turning. Once they put glasses on him he quit having his eyes crossed.

His mother had a lazy eye as a child and they did the surgery and she's blind in one eye because of it ... and if her son was just that farsighted (nearsighted?) that he didn't really have a lazy eye, there's a good chance she actually had the same problem and is now blind in one eye for no good reason.

Take your child to an optimologist before you have surgery. It could be more than worth the trouble.

Good luck.

Mine are sky blue and grass green with clouds, trees, flowers, rolling hills and paths here and there. The trim is painted to look light wrought iron fencing.

What can I say, I love to paint. My hallway is "Starry Starry night"

How long does it take? I've been divorced 2 years and I'm still pretty much where you are. Honestly I think for me it truly is because no one I've dated has been really right for me. Of course it seems the ones I think have a chance are always the ones that decide we're incompatible for one reason or another.

I think it's just the natural process of dating. I mean you're not going to truly "hit it off" with everyone you date. And you at least have to get around to the sex before any decisions are made anyway. I don't want to go falling for someone who doesn't satisfy me, so for me all bets are off until after that anyway.

It seems to me like you're right where you should be. Either that, or we're both really messed up. :)
