Looks like it Ese

We stopped at a motel. I finally made it back to town the next day. I kept looking for the ugly kid with the banjo around that place.

Never a dull time when my family gets together...

I drove to Lubbock with my mom and brother to get my moms stuff out of storage for her to take back to Louisiana. So, my brother drives up there and he takes the uhaul truck and my mom takes me back to Waco. Simple, right? Wrong! My mom gets lost and now we are in a very small town in the middle of nowhere! Ugh! My cell phone has no service, and my laptop barely gets a connection. And on top of that, I think my charger for the laptop is with my brother, who is on his way back to Louisiana!


I am trying to stay calm but she keeps getting mad about everything. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. We are only an hour or so from where I need to be but she was tired of driving.

I'm not much into poetry, but I really liked that. Very well said.

It depends how the questions are posed. Is it a back and forth thing? Or just one question after another without discussion about the previous one. The latter is the one that irritates me.

In the past, I would have said no. Simply because in my experience, the only kind of guys from other races I seemed to attract were chubby chasers. It's fine if that's what you like, but I wont be a fetish for anybody. I am more than just one area. But recently, I have actually met some very intelligent and attractive men who I would like to get to know more. So, yes I would date outside my race if they have some brains and respect in them.

Doin well. Just don't get on much right now. So much drama around here that I spend a lot of time in my room.

I have met some really good people on this site. It proves that decent people do still exist. Provided me with hours of entertainment and a few connections that didn't work out, but I have learned better about what I like and deserve.

I bought a time card for my phone, put it on and waited about an hour before using it to give it time to get properly loaded. I then texted my mother and a friend. We go back and forth for a few minutes. Suddenly, I get a text saying I have "insufficient funds to send message". I know I haven't sent 1000 texts yet. Barely 1% of that. I contacted customer service and am now waiting on help. GRRR! Just how my week has gone.

Great topic! I actually started a dream log about a month ago to keep track of the dreams I tend to have, because I have such bizarre dreams so much of the time. Last night, I dreamed I was living in a house I grew up in, at the age I am now. We had a house call from 2 dentists. Male and female. I got stuck with the male. He started cleaning my teeth and as he was using that scary scraper thing, it broke off between my top front teeth and a piece got stuck. I told him to get it out but he just ignored me and took a restroom break. When I woke up, it really felt like I had something stuck in between my teeth.

I have been on this site for years and am constantly tweaking my profile to update things in my life. I don't think there really is a "perfect profile". As long as it tells about them and what they want, it works for me.

Signing on to Mingle to find a new message from an interested person only to find that they deactivated since sending the message.

Over the years I have been on this site, I have blocked a few people. Not sure of an actual number as I only block them for a day or so. Once I block them, they tend to get the point and don't bother me even after I unblock them. I just unblocked one person and I don't even remember why I blocked him. It is really hard to get me to block someone. Usually it's persistant pervs.

Funny story, or so I think: I was recently kicked off of a phone date site because too many people had blocked me. The site allows you to see who has blocked you, and more often than not it was people who had never tried to communicate with me that had blocked me. They simply viewed my profile. Gotta love the shallow end of the pool. It's ok though. I wouldn't have been interested in them anyway.

Personality all the way....hate to be redundant but sense of humor is a must!

"Tell a girl she's beautiful she will believe it for a day. Tell her she is ugly and she will believe it for a lifetime." Unfortunately this seems to be true a lot of the time. As long as YOU don't think you are pretty, and don't carry yourself in high regard, it will show and you can attract the wrong kind of attention. And no offense to anyone, but some people will only say you look good because they want something from you. You have to believe you are worth something before anyone else will truly see it.

I hate to admit, but this one confuses me most of the time.

What bothers me is people using "text speak" and start using their own abbreviations. I can understand if you are trying to conserve space in the message, but if you are just making up your own abbreviations, please explain!

When you don't feel the same as you did in the beginning, if you can not see yourself with that person long term...etc.

What kills me is that some of them fight so hard to disprove something they supposedly do not believe in. It's fine with me if you choose not to believe. Hut why, if you don't believe, must you make it hard for those of us that do? I just pray for them.
