Hi guys, I'm new on here so thought I'd intro myself:) Name's Dee, I'm 20.
Is it just me or....Does anyone else spend a good amount of time thinking of what to put on your profile that best describes you, to only end up with the result of a sentence at the end....? Lol
My question to all is,
1:What do you consider a perfect profile?
2: Describe yours in one word.

Funny.

I can tell you what I dont like.Too much to read. After the first 10 lines, I tend to think that if I met that person I would never get a word in. Sideways photos, bad photos, shirtless photos, questions not filled in & songs with lyrics. Im fussy huh?

I agree with you also...The Author profile is what I call those.
The pics...Welll, there are some interesting ones people put out there that's for sure.

But I find it's all about making it look welcoming without making it look crowded.

Dee....potential...I. like that.

If they can give me an inkling of what their personality might be like
in a few paragraphs then I enjoy them. A little originality or creativity
and intelligence attracts me.

Actually I like a very wide variety of people. And you certainly find
that here. I joined back in the era when the site was called Justsayhi
and still have that philosophy. I really enjoy interacting with people
in the forum threads and discussions. It can be fun and lighthearted and
is the best way to get a better feeling for how others think and what
they might be like...until videochat that is...

Internet dating is like fishing. Your profile is like your bait. So, your photos are very important. As for the rest, you have to play to your audience and show yourself in a good light, but still be honest about who you are.

As for myself, I don't want to be the guy in the PG13 movie you root for. I want to be the guy in the R rated film. The one your not sure if you like or not.

I am "pre-code" entertainment really.
But I am rated G in polite company.

I like to see profiles that are well written, provide an insight on the person's personality, tells me a bit about the person and has at least a few clear pictures. If there's nothing written, if it's negative, or if there are unclear pictures, I'm not going to contact them.

To me, anything that gives me an idea of what the person is like, or has something that makes me ask questions or question the world around me.

I don't mind long or short profiles so long as they actually say something besides "HMU!"

Agree, but you have profiles that go on and on about nothing.
And ones with..."Hi" as a description. lol

shirtless photos are fine with me, totally. Just be it in a woman's profile.

I have been on this site for years and am constantly tweaking my profile to update things in my life. I don't think there really is a "perfect profile". As long as it tells about them and what they want, it works for me.

I have no idea what a perfect profile is. Apparently mine is tooooo long. And I don't talk much at all either.

I tried to just be me when I wrote mine, and what came out came out as is.
