I think that blaming it on education is a cop out. As long as someone has education to blame, they don't have to try to fix the problem, right? Had to think about this for a few minutes 
I *do* blame it on the education system... *however*... I also *do* try to correct them, but not to the point where I'm constantly *nagging* them. They are (sort of) grown and left the nest, so it's more important to *be there* for them, than it is to be constantly harping on their short-comings.

When they introduced *no child will be left behind*, the actual education *learned* by each child decreased IMO
They no longer *had* to learn in order to pass their year. My own families' Facebook posts show *horrible* spelling skills. Nobody says anything about it, so I have to *guess* it's the *norm* now. (and *that* is really sad)

i got a dang email from paypal there now asking for your tax id )which is your social security number) thats totally frustrating how far back do they tend to go i hope not far I don't believe paypal sends you emails asking for *any* kind of ID If you have a paypal account... log in first and check for messages. I get scam emails saying I have to update my paypal account (I have one, but never used it)... click here to log in (the link doesn't take you to the actual paypal website, but someone else's website with a page that *looks* the same. Be Careful
