I awoke in the morning
The rain was my first warning I got dressed and ready for school My dad is so cruel He made me take the garbage out in the blistering cold The rain was a blindfold The cold ran from my fingers up my arm My body was in alarm I threw the trash into the garbage can I felt like a madman I walked down to the bus stop I felt the rain drop Onto my skin This cold is a sin I smoke my cig to the butt This cold is worse than a cut.
