thought i'd pop in to say "hello" to all my friends.. it has been a while since i managed to stop in to say hi.. and see how everyone is doing.. I hope you are all well durring this holiday time, and I miss you all so much.. Since the wedding, and finding out that we are going to have a baby, Brad and i have been adjusting to married life, and found out that the baby is going to be a boy! Brad is extatic.. I was hopeing for a girl.. but im good with a boy too.. lol.. this will be baby #5 for us.. and the LAST ONE!! I'm exhausted.. but have started my leave from work (earlier than expected, but my boss was nervous with me working alone most of the time with the lifting and stuff i have to do.. so we made arrangements for me to go on leave about 3 weeks early) Married life is a bit more of an adjustment than i had thought it would be.. but I have finally made it to where things that used to annoy the crap out of me are finaly starting to seem normal.. (his toothbrush in my toothbrush's spot.. extra laundry.. dirty socks on my living room floor!! lol) Ok thats about all thats new for us.. Brad said to say "hi" and that we both miss our "mingle family" (but i still call it my JSH family! LOL)

I was talking about relationships with some people earlier and this old man looks at me and says, "You are a young man, but you think you have the world figured out. Let me ask you this, when does love end?" I am a mouthy, quick witted, sharped tongue guy and i had nothing for an answer. Does real love end??? Could be the fact that his eyes were lumps of coal....or the fact that he had no problem going out in public with no pants on. Women tend to frown on that last one. I know a guy who does that..... 
But would ya really be able to LOVE him??? No matter how nice he was?? I'll never be able to love anyone. That may be. But I would think a guy who's into public nudity would be even further down the list than most...lol I never said he was datable, I just said I knew him. I know a lot of pathetic men, I'd never date any of them. If I waited to date til I found a guy that wasn't pathetic..I'd never date at all!..lol |

The other day, I had a discussion with someone I know, about the line in the song "Frosty the Snowman," where it says something about he "was alive as he could be." The two of us decided that this was some sort of tautology and is basically useless for determining anything about the biological status of said snowman. Because if you think about it, everything and everyone is pretty much as alive as it can be. Look at a pair of shoes. They're as alive as they're ever going to get, which is to say not at all, unless there's some bizarre alterations made to the laws of physics, which, as I understand them, aren't due to change until sometime next August. Even if you try to look at this from the standpoint of the "Schrodinger's Cat" model of quantum mechanics, it still makes no sense. Sure, the snowman would exist in all possible states until an external observer showed up, thereby forcing a selection of states, either alive or dead; but since someone obviously wrote a song about him, the existence of observers is clearly indicated. I'm thinking people should put more thought into this stuff. Well, it was either this or another "nice guy" thread.... Go back to the Nice Guy threads Lex..lol..You talk too long about Frosty and the men with those pretty white backwards jackets might come for you..lol |

there was this elderly man that i met through a friend of mine about 20yrs ago, and i had became good friend with him. he had told me about his kids as how they disrespected him and took advantage of him. and he would often talk about this one lady that he was once engaged to. well last time i had talked to him he had told me he had prostate cancer. he had canceled his house phone sometime back and he ended up getting a prepaid cellphone thinking it was cheaper on him, but it wasent really. any how the last few days i had a feeling something maybe wrong and i was thinking of sending him a xmas card. well i just got a phone call from that old gf of his. as to find out he was in the hospitol for a short time and the hospitol placed him into a nursing home which the one the hospitol placed him into has a reputation of nothing but bad news. well to find out the guy that saved his life was the guy that brought wood to him, and ended up taking him to the hospitol. well any how les gave this man and his wife the key to get in the home to get phone numbers and they got in contact with his one son who happen to be living here in town. well to find out his son and his wife got power of attorny and have taken action. so there for the man that saved his life and his ex gf were banned from being there with him. well they dont know me. so im planing on going down there on monday to see Les.. I have flirted, nudged emailed. Women flirt back, then I go to chat or email, nothing!! why bother flirting back when you're not interested? Are the women playing by "The rules"? ya know, wait til the guy calls you 3 times before you answer him--you know, the reason why so many women who go by the rules are single. I get guys doing the same thing with Mutual Match..I think they just wanna know that someone is interested in them then they move on..orrr..maybe flirting with someone they don't feel attracted to gives them the nerve to try it on someone they are attracted too..either way it sucks! |

FAST FACTS: Four year old boy found wandering in the street, drinking a beer, and wearing a dress. Mother says he wanted to get arrested to visit his dad in jail DCS says boy will be returned to mother's custody. (Chattanooga, TN 12/18/09) A four-year-old boy who was found wandering the street with a beer in his hand in the middle of the night was apparently trying to get arrested. He was also wearing a dress that he stole from a neighbors house. The boy's mother says he was hoping police would take him to jail, so he could see his dad. Little Hayden Wright got out of the house and broke into a neighbor's home and stole some christmas presents, including the dress he was wearing when he was found. He went to another neighbor's home where he stole a beer from the cooler in the back yard. Hayden's mother says she woke up in the middle of the night and was horrified to find out that her son was not there. She says she tried to child proof the house and even put special covers on the door knobs to keep Hayden from running away. He apparently figured out how to break one of those covers and get out. This situation is exactly why I love the mail settings feature..there is really no point in getting to know someone so far away knowing that 9 times out of 10 neither of you can move to be with the other..much easier to just focus on things you think MIGHT have a chance of being possible someday..cuts down on the broken hearts and tears!

I think adoption is a beautiful thing..there are so many kids in the world that need a loving home..who cares if they are of your own blood or not..I decided years ago that if I ever met the right guy I'd adopt kids as I have health issues that I do not want to pass on to an innocent child just cause I want a family.

I'm curious... if you're a christian isn't it like against the rules to believe in anything else? Usually Christianity is against the idea of Magic / sorcery / mythical creatures or they believe it's all evil and from Satan. Is that what you're saying? You believe they exist but are evil? I just don't come across many christians that believe in so many different things but then again, I have a friend that's a Catholic Witch So I guess anything is possible. 
Not against the rules to believe, just against the rules to pray to or worship another god to acheive the powers. I feel God gave everyone gifts, some were healers, some wise, some strong, some teachers, the list goes on and on I imagine. When I was very young, I witnessed my father and my mother's aunt speaking in toungues. From my beliefs, if one spoke in toungues, they couldn't understand it, and if one could understand it, they couldn't speak it. My aunt spoke, my father relayed the basis to me after she left. I think she was just quoting scripture, but I was young, 6 or 7, and I realy don't remember. I will tell you something about why I created the thread. Now, keep in mind, I'm not claiming I have any powers, but I'm not saying I don't either. Back in Feb, a good friend of mine broke both bones in her lower left leg. She told me a few months later that while she was in the ambulance she could hear me in her head and my voice brought her back from an OBE (out of body experience). She had confided in me a month before her accident that she was ready to die and even welcomed it. That creeped me out a little when she said my voice kept her from leaving. She insisted that I was psycic, but I jokingly told her I was just an empath. Then I started thinking that maybe I was an empath. I started thinking about all the people I had met in the 5 or 6 months prior to her calling me a phycic. I realised that an unnatual amount of people (strangers), would strike up conversations with me and tell me all their problems almost immediately. Most of these people had addiction problems. Alcohol, crack, heroin, oxycodine(sp?). Some just had personal issues with their significant other. Some were justy out of Jail. Maybe 15-20 people in 5 months. Now, 5 of the 6 people who lived local to me all went into rehab and as far as I know, they're still clean. The 6th guy just wants to fight me every time I see him because I know his name and say hello to him. I've even had people online contact me out of the blue for advice. So, just a coincidence? Or is it something more? "There are more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreampt of in your philosophy"--Shakespear Perhaps you are an empath, perhaps not. Being an empath does not necessarily mean screwed up people will gravitate towards you. It just means you can read people's emotions. And perhaps influence them, to some degree. From your description, I'm guessing you're something other than an empath. People gravitate towards me ALL the time..they are usually dead though! I'm sorry? Well..one of my abilities is..I'm a medium..I see dead people like the boy from the 6th sense movie did. y'know, they have medicine for that... just kidding....
