Earlier I posted about being nervous bout my brother meeting my boyfriend......Turns out I was worried over nothing......Thankfully my boyfriend was in "motor mouth" mode, and my brother couldn't grill him.
I also need prayers for my family.....We just found out today that my dad has alzheimer's related dementia....

any time your fan gets loud, it means your cooling fins are clogged up or blocked and the fan has no air flow. You need to have a professional open up the laptop and clean out the blockage, If you do not, eventually you will fry your processor, fan, or mother board. all of which are expensive. I wouldn't try this yourself unless you can find the "how to" instructions from the manufacturer of your computer. Compaq presario's have this problem all the time. I just replace a motherboard last weekend for someone who was having the same issues, so take care of it. Josh p.s. Installing winxp would not cause your fan to be louder hmmmmmm ok.....thanks!!!! kind of figured that installation of winxp didn't cause this, as it's only started within the last week |

Ok, here's the deal. I bought a refurbished laptop that originally had Windows 98 as the OS......Windows XP was loaded onto it when I bought it. I'm guessing the laptop itself is 10-11 years old....it runs great, after my computer geek of a brother changed some of the settings for me.
My only complaint is that, when the fan to cool it kicks on, IT'S REALLY LOUD......anything I can do to quiet this downn some? I've noticed that I can actually hear the fan running from another room....apart from buying a laptop cooling station? (I don't have the funds for that right now.) |

it's not the age difference i'm worried about. my ex-fiancee is 49......and Ken's alrready met Momma and her b/f since i'm currently living with them. Do you know what you are worried about? Is it that they might not accept him? pretty much since noone's really liked any of my exes in the past What's the worst that can happen by having him over for dinner? big brother might get a little too curious about VERY private aspects of the relationship How would you handle that if he does do that? you mean besides telling him that's none of his business after i turned beet red? |

If I'm lucky, my boyfriend will be able to swing by here for dinner tonight......what makes me nervous about that????? My oldest brother is the one cooking the dinner.....Tommy (my brother) has never met any of my boyfriends in the past.......When I told him that Ken (the boyfriend) will try to get here, Tommy got this evil grin on his face........Here are everybody's ages that will/might be here tonight
Me: 25 Ken: 40 Tommy: 45 Jack (mom's b/f): 52 Dawn (Tommy's) wife: 54 Momma: 62 the only ones NOT grandparents are Ken and me.....should I worry about Tommy giving Ken the 3rd degree? |

thankfully all i had to pack were my clothes and my pictures of my daughter........only took two suitcases unnder the bus and an overnight bag on the bus.....was still a biotch to pack, tho
