i think its mostly fear -theres something too real about the good. its easier to be a mess-easier work. maybe a little self-punishment: maybe i don't really deserve the good life...or the good in life. ...had a similar conversation last night. nearly led down the road toward self-sabotage. what a faithful friend he is, huh?! |

I am not going to name who it is on this site that I have met, and been dating for months, my family met him, I even introduced him to my 4 year old, I thought everything was going well. He was a gentleman, opened my doors, even would wash my dishes when I cooked for him. About a month ago he moved out of his roomates to a place on his own, but would not show me the place, or even tell me where it was, then he became unavailable on the nights and weekends. Started not showing up when he was supposed. Those are the tell tale signs he is with another. Has told me the past 4 weeks how we will get a place together, I was not pushing that, I have a lease, telling me how much he loved me, and wants to make up for his absense the last few weeks and lack of effort. Well I got a call from a woman claiming to be his wife> I was right, do not mess with my intuition, it is never wrong, he had gotten back together with his ex wife, and could not be man enough to say so. I have never been more hurt then when people lie and cheat. but it seems like you knew in your gut well before the axe fell. certainly that doesn't make it easier, but there should be a little relief in that you at least had forewarning that something sketchy was up. condsider yourself very blessed. now all that lying and under-cover crap is her problem- not yours thank God. be grateful to the pain, cuz it saved you from a whole lotta misery. |
