I feel like it kind of has a place, but if you're going to honor one, you should honor them all. The US was founded on the idea of religious freedom, so everyone has the right to worship as they please, but going with one specific religion to use as the backbone as we seem to be doing is more or less casting a shadow over that religious freedom. I do, however, feel like some things are being addressed too much on the subject, while others are addressed too little. but its a bit more specific than that. the us was founded an the Christian faith. we came to america because we did not want to be forced to bow to the pope. the only other belief in practice at that time, in this part of the world was the worship of Christ. that is why we broke from england...to be Christians. our founding fathers were predominantly Christian-and those who weren't, were open to there brothers being so. we were founded in prayer to the Almighty. we have overcome because of prayer and belief in the Almighty. the blessing is that that has translated into freedom of religious worship. but our foundation still stands. |

Can some Muslim or learned person, please, explain what this really means. I am kinda disturbed by it, or it has a different meaning to it. “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them. This is because they acted adversely to Allah and his messenger” (Koran 8:12) Just to let you all know, I am open minded and read religious books on all kinds of religion and I see some good in them and some bad. Mostly people mis interpret them to benefit themselves. i think its pretty self explanatory. ...but they are a peaceful religion, right? |

i am an amazing girl. i love very easily. i sense things from people and about people very deeply. it sometimes makes me uncomfortable. i know more than i am comfortable knowing. i am a child of God. i am a mother with too few children. my son is 19 soon, and seeing him grown makes me so proud of the man he is becoming, and proud of the work i have done to help get him there. but seeing him grown also makes me ache. i am a 'recovering' artist. when my life went dark, my art got dark. i had to stop because i didn't want my misery immortalized-forever on record. i am not a seeker of attention. i like my supporting role. i am ruled by common sense and truth. i am very aware that i was not made for this world- and i don't really know where i belong while i am here...but that in itself is a comfort for me. i am a strong and formidable advocate for children and elders. i am an animal lover, and a collector of strays. i am easy to like even when you don't want to like me. i have been very blessed with a spirit that seems to draw people - i'm still learning how to live with it, and use it for good without retreating into my own overwhelmed head. i have the patience of Job. i try always to do the right thing regardless of whether it benefits me or not. |

Different ways God answers prayers- 1. Yes! 2. Not right now. 3. No,because I love you too much! I think about this every time things don't go my way. God has a plan for me and that alone is comforting. i love that. i must remind myself as well

No offense and all, but isn't this something you would'vew figured out looooong before you started having sex?
He kissed me the first few times we've had sex. Since then, sex has turned from love making to hair pulling, biting and ass smacking... lol theres no kissing allowed in hair pulling, biting, and ars smacking- i thought everybody knew that. on the kissing thing...how bout you just bum rush him once or twice and you KISS him. |
