Pictures are good. I would add more text though. You can't really tell that much about you from your profile.

I would just start up a conversation with him and tell him I think he's pretty cool and would he like to go hang out sometime. Then if we do go out there's no "date" pressure and his actions define whether it's a date or a friendship. I've never actually been able to ask someone on a date myself...way too shy. I've done something similar a couple of times and both turned out to be dates.

Yeah, I was thinking maybe going to dinner when he's working with a few girl friends. Then I could ask him when he gets off, 'cause he could join us at a bar after work or something.

i agree just ask him. all he can say is no.

Since I go there all the time and see him a lot, I'm worried of him saying 'no' with such a simple approach, because then I'd feel pretty awkward after that point. You know what I mean?

There's this guy I've been flirting with for a couple weeks at a restaurant I frequent. My friend works with him, so he's going to find out if he's single. If he is, I want to ask him out. (I don't think he will ask me out, since I'm always about with my friends who are 99% guys.)

Do I do the ol' number on the check thing? I always thought that was a little trashy. What do you think?

What's the best way to ask out this guy?

Besides the fact that I am sure you and your roomate are friends, or at least friendly. Maybe sit and tell her everything that has happened then she can make the decision.... and it might shed light into her friendship also....

I was considering that. I think I'll wait though to see if he follows through on asking her out. I don't want to bring it up for no reason, ya know?

If his interest in her was a natural progression ie...he spent time with her ect ect. then yes, you shouldn't get in the middle.

But he is putting you there, and that's not what friends do in circumstances such as the one you have explained.

I have a ton of guy friends, and whatver my history with them...be it romantic or not...they don't date my friends, and I don't date theirs.

This guy is very selfish and self centered. LOSE HIM FROM YOUR SPEED DIAL. Kick him to the curb on trash day.

That's exactly how I feel. If he really must date her, fine, but certainly don't come to me with that information. Not to mention he was asking me what kind of flowers she likes. I'm sorry, but I'm absolutely not going to aid him in getting her to go out with him.

 Did I miss read something????? You are friend's and have no intention of dateing???? I may be weird but don't you think that would be for her to decide if she want's to date this guy?????

Of course it's her place to decide. But after he's essentially rejected me twice, this last time being a few days ago, I would hope that his next target wouldn't be someone that's so close to home for me. Literally.

And more importantly, not stick me in the middle of it.

No he's not a dumbazz,,,, She said everything is fine between them so why are you jealous??????

We're fine as friends. He apologized for bringing up old feelings without having the intention of following up on them. I told him that it was still awkward for me now that he dug up all of these old feelings again. That doesn't mean that my closest friend/roommate is up for grabs. I felt that was incredibly insensitive. You don't?

Oh, and just to say. I admitted to having feelings for him several months ago and he turned me down. I got over it. And it was just this past weekend when he said he was wrong, and he really does want a relationship with me... but apparently not enough to actually be in one.

Ugh, he's so not worth my time.

(I don't know if anyone read my post earlier this week, but...) one of my close guy friends admitted to having feelings for me. He then told me the next day that he didn't feel like he could do anything about it because I used to date one of his friends. I used to have strong feelings for him, so this was a big deal. We talked about it, smoothed things over and we were fine.

Here's the kicker: He starts text messaging me yesterday asking what my house number is and whatnot. I ask him why, and he tells me that he wants to come by and give MY ROOMMATE some flowers and ask her out on a date.

Why don't you just go ahead and pour the whole shaker of salt right into that wound you gave me?

Never thought I'd see Van Halen and Reba McIntire in the same concert list.

Also, I've seen:

Hanson - 1998
Hanson - 1999
The Offspring, Cypress Hill - 2000
Radiohead - 2002
The Format, Limebeck, Steel Train, Reubens Accomplice - 2007

As well as several radio concerts with tons of people from Blink-182 to Limp Bizkit to Good Charlotte.

This past halloween at a party I was hired to DJ and I dressed as a breathalyzer. The tube to blow on was located in a great location. I had 20 different shades of lipstick on that tube by the time the party was over lol.

Haha, my friend wore that same costume last year. laugh

What is the best costume you've had for Halloween?

I've always wanted to dress up like Super Mario people. I have a lot of guy friends, so they could be Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, etc. and I could be Princess!

What are some of your favorites, or something you've always wanted to do?

It depends on the level of maturity of both parties. I've had it work, and I've had it not work.

A girl on the second(?) Flavor of Love show had that as her musician name. I think her real name was Heather, but she wen't by Nevaeh when she sang.

...what would you change it to? And what's your name now?

I'm Becki. But I want my name to be "Better Than You". That way when I introduce myself, I could say, "Hello, I'm Better Than You", or "Legally, I'm Better Than You". laugh laugh

Seriously, though, I would probably choose Lucy or Belle.
