Classic rock tunes from the 70's that talked about rebellion and drugs were also deemed to be ruining the country. Old people loved to call the kids hippies. The next generation is always going to find something to love that shocks and enrages the older generations. It's just part of growing up.

Men who deactivate, women who don't reply, toddlers that are cheating on you. Seriously this forum cracks me up. If someone doesn't answer you or deactivates they obviously aren't interested in you. Move on and find someone else to talk to. There are plenty of cool people out that are happy to talk to you.

I agree freeagent! The thought of getting to visit somewhere new is also exciting. Having to travel a distance also make the anticipation even greater!

I'm somewhat of a loner too. I have a few close friends that I talk to daily and hang out with occasionally. I spend a lot of my time with my family, watching my favorite shows, checking out new music online and posting on a couple of different forums I belong to.

I'm a pretty simple person.

I went to Oklahoma to meet someone I met online. This was a few years ago. It didn't work out but it didn't turn me off to the idea completely of LDR's.

As for just looking for a booty call or whatever, I've chosen to be single the last 9 months because I was tired of feeling like the guys I was going out with weren't really interested in what was going on above my neck.

In a way I think I like the idea of someone that is out of state because the guys that live in your city often get pushy about wanting to meet up right away and I don't know if I'm comfortable with that. I really like to take my time and get to know someone a little bit outside of what it says on their profile and all the crap they said in that one conversation you had on the phone. I've met guys locally and usually when they are rushing and pressuring you to meet up they just want to see if they can screw you.

Yeah I know! I think when I was on PoF I set the filter to guys that only lived within like 25 miles. I shouldn't have limited myself like that. I don't care about distance anymore because you might miss out on someone really cool like that.

I've never been on a forum within a dating site. This is the scond dating site I've tried. I joined Plenty of Fish a couple of months ago and it really sucked. Just a bunch of creepy weirdos. So I heard about this place and deactivated my profile and came over here. I am having way more fun here even if I don't meet anyone.
