You already set your incoming mail so you don't need to repeat that above. No one is going to read that. They will look at your interests and dismiss the negative stuff. If someone you don't care for contacts you, simply delete them. Mail might come in from all over the world. Learn to delete as you go. |

Please don't tell me you LISTEN to those phone calls. ???? As soon as I realize it's a robo call or a sales call, I simply hang up. Surely seniors are not as stupid as the callers think. (oooops , yes, some of them are) and some old folks are so lonely, they will listen to anything. I feel sorry for them. If social security calls you, HANG UP.

There doesn't have to be long posts and quotes unlimited. All you have to do is turn on the TV. Listen for one day to FOX news and get the facts. Listen to CNN for one day and hear Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper and more spew filth and lies. Oh right, I guess people of a certain sexual persuasion don't tell lies. NOT ! I get the majority of MY news from the British Guardian and Aljazeera. They are more on point that our US media.

The emotional bias we have toward self-protection can cloud our judgment. I disagree totally. Nothing the liberals say whether true or not makes me afraid. I just dig my heels in even deeper. The majority of their statements are twisted truth concocted to make people afraid. Maybe a weak person who is easily swayed will give in, but NoT the Conservatives like me. |

Back to the TOPIC - WW1. My father was born in 1899. When he was 17 he joined the Navy and served in a submarine in WW1. He told me that it literally was a "tin can" and you could hear every fish that hit it. I would have been scared to death to be in a sub during that War.
