I let guys know up front there is not a snowballs chance in hell as I not only no longer have the equipment to be able to bear children, but my baby is seventeen and I am close to being an empty nester. You'd be amazed at how many guys say, but couldn't we adopt? No we cannot adopt, you can find someone else to adopt with but WE are not going to adopt. My next children will be grandchildren, and I hope they are still several years away.

We have 8 to 10 inches in Grayson County (60 miles north of Dallas). Took me over 2 hours of driving maybe 3 miles before I pulled into a parking lot and waited for my mom & dad to come pick me up.

Don't know why, but turning 21 was the hardest birthday I ever had. Now I'm twice that age and look forward to the birthdays, it means you're still alive which is a lot better than the alternative.

Since we are stuck on elephant references, the elephant is the only mammal with 4 knees.

And originally sassafras was what the ladies drank, it was not allowed to ferment as long as the root beer that the men got to drink.

You just had to ask a tough one, huh? But the truth of the matter is that as long as I could be happy I would rather live where I wanted to with no money (can I have just a little money?) than live someplace with a lot of money. And where is easy, anywhere there is a warm breeze, lots of sand, plenty of trees for shade, and lots and lots of salt water.

I'm smart about some things, dumb about others & beachfarmer made me laugh. Also made me think about that blond boy back in high school...oh wait we won't go there.

hey Chefron, where is Cooper City FL, realize I could look it up but it's funner asking people. I have never seen a part of Florida I didn't like, but I will admit that Orlando, Kissimmee area would not be a place I would want to live. I am holding out for a retirement home on A1A between Jacksonville and St. Augustine.

drinker drinker drinker Tomorrow is Friday so I should be going TGIF, but I found out right before I left work that I have two meetings tomorrow and have been put on not just one but TWO of those infamous "figure out what's wrong and fix it" committees for my company. Means extra work, limited down time from production, and no extra money, all this just in time for the big wig pow-wow we are having at our site next week. Anybody got a margarita I.V.? I think I'm gonna need one.drinker drinker drinker

Love HIM, got to see them in concert in Dallas almost two years ago. Have relatives that live in Cali but since I now realize you are in your 30s age wise they are not your age. Personality probably. They live in the LA area don't know if that is close to where you are.

I'm 42, somedays I feel 100, somedays I feel 10. Age is just a number. In my group of in the flesh friends I am what they call the Momma. Most of my friends are 10 years younger than me, some are closer to my kids age than my age. But they love me, they want me to hange out with them, I can drink them all under the table, I help them win every trivia contest they enter, and they all know no matter how drunk I am at the end of the night if they need a shoulder to cry on or a place to crash I'm it...and yes I will remember what we talked about the next day, but will never be the first one to mention said conversation. My teenage kids and their friends actually enjoy my going places with them, but I try to limit myself so they can enjoy their own lives. Age is a number not a rule.

yawn Nope, baby sat my older sister and her teenage daughter all weekend. Which probably should have been fun but since God blessed me with boys for a reason I don't know how to entertain teenage girls. Apparently the movie "Across the Universe" was too intellectual for my niece who is functionally autistic. I thought she would enjoy it because she loves Beatles music, it was just trying to explain why Prudence wanted to sleep with Rita, etc. She didn't want to play outside with the dogs, or go to the lake fishing. Let me state it again, Thank you God for blessing me with boys because even at the ripe old age of 42 I am too much of a tomboy to know how to play with little girls.

My oldest son's birthday is 4 days before Christmas. The year he turned 3 between his birthday and Christmas he got a tricycle and a battery operated jeep, and those were just the two biggies, not counting all the other assorted small toys etc. He spent the next 6 months playing with the huge card board box the new fridge came in. We carried that huge box back and forth between our house, the baby sitters house and the grandparents house (Texans always have a truck, until their babies turn 16 and wreck those trucks) until it finally fell apart, he cried for weeks. Why can't we get another new fridge? Get her whatever, she will find something else to play with, it is what makes a kid a kid.

glasses Cancer here, the sign with the sexiest symbol. And to all the Libra's out there...don't you know you are made to balance everyone around you? Haven't you ever noticed you are the peacemaker, the load bearer. the calm rational voice that softly speaks while everyone else is yelling? Me? I'm the one burying myself in the sand, hiding my soft emotions under that tough exterior.
