Topic: Is it just me or does this really need to be split? | |

30's and 40's?? There's a big difference between say 33 and 48. I'd strongly encourage this section be split into decade groups. 20's, 30's, 40's, etc. It's so tough delineating by age though. For instance I'm 40 so anyone between 33 and 45 or so is where my attention goes. |

If you didn't know how old you are, how old would you be? |

Humm myself I'm in my late 40's but I do perfer talking to the ones in there 30's so with that said what is the big deal make you a thread that says 40 & above but regardless anyone can still enter it.
Then your problem would be solved and no need to complain on the way the threads are set up they are not law and they do give you and option to make adjustments. Myself as far as talking to others I have no limits within an age group for I do enjoy listening to those younger as well as older. WE are never to old to learn from the younger or older generation. |

If you didn't know how old you are, how old would you be? Love this...stop placing so much emphasis on age...it doesnt guarantee anything.... |

<----35, but have made friends on here from 20 all the way up to 58. Oh yeah, and one 19 year old that keeps sending me messages.
I don't mind the age of whomever I'm talking to. Just as long as him/her doesn't try to lord it over me. (= |

im 40 and I usually get along with mature guys in their early 20's =/ and Im not sure if I am immature or if guys my age just seem a little cynical and jaded to me. but I have met some really great friends online and they are all much younger men. Its great to have them as friends but its funny cause I would like to find someone with a personality like that but closer to my age so that a relationship could at least be possible.

I'm 42, somedays I feel 100, somedays I feel 10. Age is just a number. In my group of in the flesh friends I am what they call the Momma. Most of my friends are 10 years younger than me, some are closer to my kids age than my age. But they love me, they want me to hange out with them, I can drink them all under the table, I help them win every trivia contest they enter, and they all know no matter how drunk I am at the end of the night if they need a shoulder to cry on or a place to crash I'm it...and yes I will remember what we talked about the next day, but will never be the first one to mention said conversation. My teenage kids and their friends actually enjoy my going places with them, but I try to limit myself so they can enjoy their own lives. Age is a number not a rule.

dont know what the big deal is - 30's and 40's doesnt mean only people in that age bracket stop in; comment; participate
why make a forum just for 30 somethings? next you'll want one for 31 yr olds; 31 yrs and 1 month etc. does it really matter? |
