I don't think it should be a requirement. Somebody should call you because they want to. And the phone line works both ways. If you were dying to hear his voice, why didn't you call him? Of course, if he shounds annoyed that you called, that is a clear sign, and you should stop it, all together! If he wants you, then he needs to make you feel wanted. If he doesn't fill that need, you need to move on.

I send text messages to just let someone know I'm thinking about them sometimes. Just a thought.

I DO tend to look for signs, like, for example; The one and only time I've felt it so strongly that I actually MARRIED the guy, I found out that through our whole lives, we had been JUST missing each other, like in the movie, we knew the same people, went to the same schools, the same places, just not at the same time. There was this overwhelming feeling of "We were supposed to get together!"
However, it only lasted 6 years! So, what do I believe now... not sure!
