Well done on your none smoking year. I broke the habit in 1992, the first year was the worst and believe it or not, I still get a craving for a cigarette from time to time. 2013 was a good year for me, spending time visiting my family and friends overseas on my holidays. Wishing everyone all the very best in 2014 and good luck in their search for a partner. Happy New Year.

2013 was some kind of nightmare. no major achievements. but i still thank God i made it to 2014 and i want to do even better in all aspects of my life. happy new year to the mingle family. There is no alternative to hard labour. Happy New Year.

Happy New year to you as well and great news about your smoking victory. It was a tough year but I tend to look at what I do have instead of the bad things. I have 2 jobs, a place to live,a beautiful dog, and my step dad survived major cancer surgery so really I am blessed. Let hope 2014 will bring grand success to you. Happy New Year.

It was the year from hell for me until August; then my life got so much better with a fantastic new job, spending more time with my friends, and being able to pay off some major bills. If we never go through the sorrow we won't feel the value of happiness. (Though I try to be stoic.) Congratulation for your new job.

I doubt a cat has nine lives. I have seen them get hit by a car and they are done. My point is age should not be stopping you from things you want to do. , your health an attitude might but not your age. Yes age and health are two separate things. Some people get sick and die very young. Some people are very old and still healthy an active. Yes age and health are two different things but they are closely connected to each other.As we grow old our health starts deteriorating.

I never understood why becoming older is looked down or feared. I mean really, who decides if you are old or not .If you are old so what???If you are young so what? We all come into this world at different times and we all leave it at different times. Its what you do with TODAY that matters. Enjoy every minute you have, whether you are young or old. There is no doubt that we should enjoy every minute of our life but it is also true that as we grow older we become more dependent on others. [A cat has nine lives.How many does BTB have?
