I've recently purchased a new Toshiba Satellite PC, and it has WIN7 loaded.

I have a Canon MP250 printer/scanner which is less than a year old. The PC and printer are connected via a D-link USB hub. I've tried using more than one port on the hub, and the fault follows the printer, although other devices work fine when plugged into the hub.

When I first set-up my PC I could print with no problems. After a few weeks, I noticed that the 'ready' light on my printer goes off after about 10 minutes, so each time I wanted to print I had to hit the start button before sending a document to print.

Now it won't even print when I do that. If I send a doc to print, it sits in the queue but more often than not it won't actually print the document. However, sometimes it prints about 1/3 of the document then stops.

If I switch off the printer and switch back on just before sending a doc to print, most of the time it prints, but not always.

If this doesn't work, a re-boot will normally allow me to print. Once I've printed one document it will allow me to print others, as long as there's only a couple of minutes between each print.

After about 10 mins the ready light goes off again, and so the cycle repeats.

Can anyone help me with this?

First of all heck when I got married my family found out after the fact as well. We went to the court house and got married.

If parents will take something like that and let it become a wedge between them and their kids it seems there are deeper issues then just them getting married.

It would be tough to know I would let something so trivia come between me and my kids.

The only suggestion I have is go have a picture taken of their family now. Send this to them in the mail or drop it off on their door step. Inside put a invitation for them to call in order to leave the past in the past and lets start a New Beginning.

The problem is no one wants to be the one to make the first move. Sad on both parts. But if they at least made that move and the parents do not comply then I would say move on without them..



I would almost bet the picture of them and the baby together would be enough for them to realize what they are missing out on....

so are there a lot of people on this site. i'm new and not sure how to navigate it.
