maybe communion at a catholic church, but u can take communion at most any protestant church, and to me it's equally valid.

personally i dont believe the catholic church is the ultimate authority of christ on earth. they've done too many things in the name of god and hidden too many secrets for me to believe that. (spanish inquisition, crusades, recent priest scandals, etc)

personally i am a firm christian and i go to a non-denominational church where we study from the bible and try our best to live right in our personal walks with christ.

this argument is refuted in best-selling christian journalist lee strobel's "the case for the real jesus".

the bottom line is that you will find evidence for any view you want, that is why god gave us faith. there is an equal amount of evidence supporting both the christian faith and atheist arguments, but determining which is more valid than the other is up the reader/scholar. there are just as many, if not more, christian scholars out there who can easily argue against what you have posted with evidence and logic, just as u would argue against them with a similiar tactic, using ur own evidence.

i can accept people being agnostic. i dont know what u believe, but i think for anyone to be ahteist and claim this world just "happened" by chance is in denial or just plain angry at god.
