I can hear it...
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin', We're gonna do what they say can't be done. We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there. I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandit" run! I know what kind of radio you have. |

Lovely morning to all! @Pisces, I believe we made them sweat last night at girls vs guys. Grand time! @Eric, you are right. Stu is only 1 1/2 days drive from me. You didn’t have to seem so eager to be replaced as my nearest. @Stu, so you’re only 1 1/2 day’s drive away and you’ve never bothered to bring me coffee? @David, that’s fabulous! You never asked... I might be able to cut that 1/2 day out and make it in one. Watch out for Smokey! |

I’ve known people to perceive “be yourself” as allowing every impulse carte blanche, and others to take it as advice to follow their instincts. The difference between impulse and instinct, being night and day.
An impulse is a momentary thought while an instinct is a more processed one. As you are the one processing it, the result is still very much being oneself. I take “be yourself” as, “trust your instincts”, because my instincts tell me not to follow my impulses at inappropriate times. An example; the man next to me at a funeral, following an impulse, makes some small jest under his breath. My impulse would be to laugh, as it was quite humorous and I am naturally drawn to good humor, but my instinct knows it would be greatly disrespectful to do so. In keeping mum, have I failed to be myself? Of course not. Being respectful of others is one of my instincts and therefore also “being myself”. |

not eager bailey. i just know how hideous the ride up the coast is and wouldn't wish it on anyone better to stop at stu's first then come the rest of the way up to the great white north by the inland route I confess. I’ve been on the coast for over 35 years and never followed the drive north past DC. I hear the water is cold. |

Now I know how Pisces can be here while visiting Romeo's bar. The two places are next door to each other. If the bar's patrons have too much to drink, then they can go next door for coffee. I think scoobs bar is just to the left! Lovely! An entire Mingle District! |
