Time to erase this lonliness.... Yancey, Mitchell counties

Looking for a lonely, older, mature, reasonably - attractive lady who's interested in developing a friendship/relationship here in Burnsville.

Just moved here from South Florida. Still recovering from culture shock. Any age 45- 60 yr old woman looking for a single, secure, recently retired schoolteacher for lunch, drinks, whatever..... been a lonely existence here thus far.

While I'm flattered that so many younger women leave me msgs, i feel like it's beginning to waste my time. All, without exception, younger women tell men, "but age is just a number." Frankly, i think that may just be one way of looking at it.
some of us older, divorced in mid-life guys, find it difficult to connect with women in the 45 - 60 range especially if the bar scene or clubbing are empty pursuits.
For me, I happened to roll out and somehow survive the entire Woodstock era only to devote my life to teaching students American History. I grew up just north of Ft. Lauderdale, and upon retiring, was entering into that fast, loose life down there that was (is) not my lifestyle. So, I moved to the serenity of Western North Carolina and a total culture shock it has been.
Anyway, I'm writing this, primarily it seems just to get this whole older-older dating matching scene off of my chest.
If anyone picks up the thread, i would welcome the dialogue
