How many widowers out there?

I'm a 56 y.o. twice widowed woman. My first loss was after just a year and a half after we married. My husband was killed in an industrial accident. My second loss was my husband of 15 years who died from cancer very suddenly. I've been widowed for a little over 2 years now...a little nervous about getting back into the dating thing!! THIRD time the CHARM?? Never know.

I think there is too much generalization going on here. All women are not the same and their wants and needs vary greatly! Some want sex without strings and some want caring and affection with little need for sex. Some want a full loving relationship with all that goes with it and some want a beer and someone to talk to once a month. The problem isn't what you (or they) want, it's hooking up with someone who wants the same as you. That problem gets harder with time. well said ! What they BOTH said. |

and now I have someone else living in Eddie's house with me...his girlfriend and her kid....nice to come home to huh? Boy! That's gonna be a change!  I know !!!
Wow are they trying to get you to move back to Breckenridge? I don't know...Eddie wants me to stay..but that wouldn't be right or fair to anyone. Actually, it works for many families since the beginning of time. Just don't play babysitter. Just requires, open discussions, allowing for different opinions & agreeing to disagree with respect. Kind of like being married. LOL |

cbjk53, don't know where in TX you are but I'm heading to Houston and Galveston Island in 12 days.. I'm excited about my trip, haven't seen much of TX except for Austin and San Antonio...Fell in love with SA! Keep the weather nice for me! lol Look up some of the gang, while in Houston |
