No particular anything I prefer about being single. If being in a relationship would mean having to compromise on issues that are important to me, it isn't the right relationship. The only advantage I can think of is that when on my own I can leave my paint & canvas on the dining table for as long as I like, or my tarot card & readings. When you're together you dine at the table, so then it needs to be cleared. But then you have the joy of dining together :) One other thing I've been thinking about is this: if you'd move in together having to fit both your stuff into one home. That will take compromise. I've got a 3 bedroom house and it's full up, haha. My ex had the same, so if you move in together, well... you'll both end up having to dump stuff. Wait! He’s going to bring all his stuff AND expect to sit down to eat? 
I may want to rethink this whole thing. 
Seriously Crystal, good points. But you do make the best argument for staying single.

I can turn the music up as loud as I want to. No one complains when I cook. I don't have to grit my teeth & say yes dear.... I don't have to worry about what kind of mood he'll be in when he gets home. I have control of the remote. I don't have to pick up left over food on the couch in the morning. I could go on & on .....
