Godd morning....why is it on a weekend I wake up at 5:45 and cannot sleep....on a workday I cant drag myself out of bed until about 7:45.

I guess I'll enjoy some coffee and a sunrise.

Sits quietly by Upland, watching the sun come up, sipping a cup of coffee

I think dreams change the way of seeing life,....depending on if the dreams are good or bad. For example,...if you have a very good dream and you wish that it happens,....you just started "the mental creation" of your future. (Stephen Covey, 2000)

Yes, they can be motivation for life changes.
Also, dreams can be stepping stones for getting past very real grief, or acute troubles. I also believe that dreams can reveal some portion of who you are, or give you insight to a particularly difficult situation (relationships and such) that you may be dealing with.

They are individual, and personal.

Agreed?

because only human is one thing in this world can do there own what he want u just dream about any thing and try to think daily for that it will be happen flowerforyou

Wouldnt that be attributed to motivation and enthusiasm, more than dreams?

I'm not talking fantasies, here.
We all have fantasies of being successful or happy or content - those are natural. But real, sleeptime REM dreams, are what I'm referring to.

just by the basic laws of physics or even nature, even random-nes will:smile: repeat it self..

I believe so too, D

but how would you explain randomness when you're obviously looking for easy answers to hard questions?

happydreams are a replay, they're yours alone and so are the interpretations.

I agree D ...

but you cant deny there are those dreams that plague you from time to time.
If dreams are random, how is it possible to have 'recurring' dreams? And why?

Maybe your subconscious is trying to tell you something when you get 'recurring' dreams.

I had thought that for a while, Wiley
but the re-ocurring dream I had started when I was a kid and ran until I was in my mid 20's

100 years ago, mind you, but it was very strange.

Yes ... I think so too Chacha.

But then, why???

because there are those that can and need to interpret
because there are those that are nutty and think they can and so they do interpret
because people want confirmation of what they think and feel
because people want to believe
because we are humans being, more than we are human beings.

Very much so!

Confirmation is huge, I think. We want to know we have some insight - that we know ourselves. And the unknown is a very dangerous place to us.

Especially if it is personal.

That's possible, Snoman

but not all dreams are considered 'good', either

What is your opinion of dreams and their interpretation? What about those who supposedly do the interpreting? Do you think they are or can be portents of things real?

A few years ago I had a dream about my dad why normally this would be nothing significant he passed away in 1979.

How did the dream effect the way you felt?

Because I'm "selective" (this is a nice way of saying picky), I don't conform to mainstream ideas about lifestyles or much of anything else for that matter, I have a really short attention span, so anyone with an IQ of under 160 is probably going to bore me to death in 5 minutes, I don't drink and won't date a drinker, or anyone who has kids, and a lot of people have e-mailed me and said they find my writing and vocabulary "intimidating."

People, it's words in a dating site forum. Who cares? If that's as deep as you can look, we wouldn't get along anyway.

As a creative type, I'm drawn to other people who create -- writers, artists, musicians, photographers, etc. And I have not found many of them on dating sites....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
