I wish that country music was like it was back in the 50s and 60s Check out Rick Jackson's Country Music Hall of Fame. He plays 2 hours of country oldies every weekend. Sunday morning at 8 to 10am on my local station, but it is a nationally syndicated broadcast. See if you can get it in your area. I love listening to those old songs! Thank you for the info. I will try it.

Cause I love a rainy night such a beautiful site....I love to feel the rain on my face as it lights up the sky....and it makes me feel good To see a raindrop as it falls upon a rose pedal. Or, listen as the drops fall upon a roof made of tin, or metal. Or, to walk through the puddles it has made. Knowing that in time, even though, like true love it will also fade.

Have you ever thought that you were born in the wrong Era? The wrong space of time? Like me. I believe that I would have been happier being able to go see Patsy Cline,Richie valance, Roy Acuff, Hank Williams Sr. In person. Things seem to have been much simpler back then. People were more honest back then. You could go to the market, and wouldn't have to worry about if you left your door unlocked or not. Where your word, or your hand shake was your bond. 1890's. Give me a gun, whiskey, and I will kill. Im sure they had matches back then also

I miss the cars of the 60's Yea. The styles were cool. And they didnt crumble up when they were hit. They were made of REAL metal, instead of tin or fiberglass.

Well when I was a child in the 50's my dad was a country muscian, I got to meet Ernest Tubb, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson when he was just starting out. I grew up in the 60's and 70's in the Hippie "free Love" generation!! what a great time it was!!!! Great music and love ins and Flower power!!!! I was very fortunate. Yes you was Mike. I also met Johnny Cash,and Willie Nelson. Wish i would have met Ernest tubb. My true heart longs for the singing artists of that era.
